"That is strange," Hua Yunfei said. "I just saw someone who looked somewhat like a person I knew."
Hearing this, Hei Chang smiled. "Then you and that person truly are fated, benefactor. What you may not know is that if someone who comes to reincarnate possesses exceptional talent, they may be retained in the Dark World."
Hua Yunfei narrowed his eyes. "Does that mean he has not truly died, but has instead come back to life here?"
Hei Chang nodded. "That is correct. Only after reincarnating can one be considered truly dead. Before that, they have not truly died. Of course, that is only from the Dark World's perspective. In the outside world, death is still death."
Hua Yunfei nodded slightly.
Then that figure from earlier might truly have been that person.
