Ch. 981Delay, Collapse

Yugulos’s Legendary Spell devastated the battlefield but failed to destroy Moonsea City, leaving its exhausted defenders bracing for further attacks. Meanwhile, the Lava Clan expanded through the north and began undermining the Kingdom of Thebes’s trade, pushing the kingdom toward collapse.

  • Yugulos and the Warlocks unleashed a Legendary Spell that scorched the battlefield, but Moonsea City’s barrier and Mage Tower endured.
  • Yugulos collapsed from exhaustion, while the human mages recovered with potions and worried that the enemy’s stronger forces remained.
  • The Lava Clan held its forces near Moonsea City to keep the Kingdom of Thebes from withdrawing its defenses as Lubluk’s forces advanced through the north.
  • Ajires arrived with the Air Legion, and the Lava Clan took control of the entire north of the Kingdom of Thebes.
  • The Lava Clan’s navy sabotaged shipping, driving up commercial costs and prices throughout the kingdom and worsening internal unrest.

Ch. 982Disruption

Green's forces captured Moonsea City after refugees, shortages, and war pushed the Kingdom of Thebes toward collapse. As the Lava Clan advanced on Herman, Lubluk bypassed Greenwater City and set his sights on the royal city.

  • Leindorf reported that Moonsea City was in chaos and asked Green for permission to launch the final assault; Green ordered the attack.
  • Dragon One and Dragon Two shattered Moonsea City's barrier, the Mages fled, and Lakstan killed the city's lord as the Lava Clan took control.
  • The Lava Clan sent its Legions along the waterways toward Herman.
  • Lubluk learned that his forces had captured every northern and central border city except Greenwater City.
  • Lubluk ordered part of his Legion to guard Water City and sent the rest around Greenwater City to attack Herman.

Ch. 983The Decisive Battle

As the Fishfolk threatened Herman Royal City, the Lava Clan assembled for a decisive battle against the Kingdom of Thebes. Leindorf attacked the city with his Legendary Realm, and Eugene used the Sword of Thebes to rise to the Legendary Realm and strike at him.

  • Yihan VI feared the fallen cities would let the Fishfolk reach Herman Royal City.
  • Eugene strengthened Herman's soldiers with his Golden Battle Aura and urged them to defend the city.
  • The Four Great Legions of the Lava Clan assembled outside Herman, with Leindorf and the commanders at the front.
  • Leindorf unleashed Lava Inferno and Dragon Might, scorching the land and pressuring Herman's barrier and defenders.
  • The Sword of Thebes flew from the royal palace, and Eugene used it to enter the Legendary Realm.
  • Eugene appeared above Leindorf and swung a massive phantom of the Sword of Thebes down at him.

Ch. 984The Final Cards Were All on the Table

Eugene and Leindorf fought while the Lava Clan and Herman Royal City gathered their strongest forces for a decisive battle. The Lava Clan launched its final assault, and Herman’s soldiers and adventurers charged out to meet it.

  • Eugene’s surprise attack was blocked by Leindorf, and the two resumed their fierce battle.
  • Yugulos and 500 Warlocks combined their power as Herman’s Mages drew on the Library’s mana, causing opposing red and blue currents to collide above the battlefield.
  • Dragon One and Dragon Two attacked Herman, but the king of the Kingdom of Thebes used his Crown to awaken a statue of Thebes I, which fought the dragons.
  • The Lava Clan’s Legions advanced behind a crimson barrier that blunted Herman’s magitech attacks.
  • Herman’s gates opened, and its soldiers and adventurers charged the Lava Clan, beginning the final head-on clash.

Ch. 985Influence

Green watched the battle from a mountain before flying toward Herman Royal City to end the war, and his arrival overwhelmed the battlefield with his Legendary Realm. As the King of Thebes faced the approaching red dragon, he entrusted the kingdom’s bloodline to Eugene.

  • Green observed the battlefield and concluded that Deities connected to humanity were secretly supporting the Church.
  • Green spread his wings and flew toward the front line, prompting the Lava Clan to proclaim that the war was over.
  • Green’s power turned the sky crimson, and the Lava Clan’s monsters stopped fighting and knelt while the other forces froze under the pressure.
  • The King of Thebes lamented that the Kingdoms of Pips and Sannix had refused to help against Green and acknowledged that Thebes was too weak to survive.
  • The King of Thebes asked the wounded Eugene to preserve the royal bloodline of the Kingdom of Thebes.

Ch. 986The Final Stand

The King of Thebes refused to abandon his kingdom and sent Eugene to protect Haikrosos, his apprentice and the realm’s best hope for the future. Green arrived at the battlefield and demanded the king surrender, but the king transformed himself with the Crown of Thebes to make a final stand.

  • The King of Thebes told Eugene that Haikrosos had been teleported to the border and asked him to protect the apprentice until he was strong enough to rebuild the kingdom.
  • Eugene swore an oath to protect Haikrosos, then used a spatial scroll to teleport away.
  • Green sensed Eugene’s passage but continued toward the battlefield, thinking about Subjective Domain Power and his plans to gather Mental Will Force through faith.
  • Green landed in Hellman City and used his Dragon might to pin the humans and Monsters to the ground before demanding the King of Thebes surrender.
  • The King of Thebes rejected Green’s demand, put on the water-blue Crown, and transformed into a powerful Water Element creature at the cost of his soul.

Ch. 987The End, Expansion

Green defeated the King of Thebes and accepted Herman's surrender, then led the Lava Clan to conquer the Kingdom of Thebes and establish the Lava Empire. With the Western Frontier under his control, Green's growing influence drew the attention of rival races and Gold Dragons as a greater upheaval began to brew.

  • The King of Thebes sacrificed himself in a final attack, but Green shattered the water-blue greatsword and the surviving soldiers surrendered.
  • Lizard Queen Kali's administration team secured Herman while the Lava Clan conquered the remaining cities and allowed many humans to flee.
  • The Lava Clan blocked nobles from escaping with resources and enslaved those they intercepted for labor in the Aelsmi Mountains.
  • Three months after the war, Green established the Lava Empire, and the spread of faith helped many Lava Clan commanders enter the Legendary Realm.
  • Lubluk conquered the Dorne Kingdom, and Ajires conquered the Red Sand Kingdom, bringing the entire Western Frontier under Green's control.
  • Evil races and Gold Dragons began traveling to the Western Frontier as Green reviewed his gains in Herman Royal City.

Ch. 988Slumber and Transformation

Green reviewed his growth and the progress of his main body's Omniscience while ruling the Lava Kingdom. He decided to sleep to strengthen himself and expand the Dragonification Domain before the coming wars to conquer the Toril Continent.

  • Herman Royal City had become a harmonious city shared by humans and the Lava Clan, while Leindorf had wiped out the fleeing Royal Clan members.
  • Green checked his attributes and found that his dragon body had reached the Twenty-Fifth Level and his Omniscience of Sight was nearly complete.
  • Green judged that conquering the Toril Continent would help complete his Omniscience of Sight and planned to grow his body toward its peak.
  • Green decided to further strengthen the Lava Clan and expand the Dragonification Domain while he slept.
  • Green spread his Legendary Realm and pushed his Progenitor Red Dragon bloodline to its limit before falling into a deep slumber.

Ch. 989Three Years of Turmoil in Toril

Over three years, the Lava Empire developed its lands, gained Dragonblood Warriors, defeated a dragon-led crusade, and expanded across the western reaches of Toril. As threats rose across the continent, humanity’s rule faltered, while the Lava Empire remained a comparatively less dangerous power.

  • The Lava Empire used canals and trade to develop farmland, end its food shortage, and acquire and improve human Magitech.
  • Green’s blood awakened faint Red Dragon blood in new life across the empire, and Kali restricted entry to the overcrowded area around Hellman City.
  • A Gold Dragon-led crusade attacked the Lava Empire, but nine Legendary defenders defeated it, and the Lava Clan captured dragons and later received three Legendary Weapons in exchange for their release.
  • Western kingdoms secretly moved assets or sold land, allowing the Lava Empire to more than double its territory without launching an active invasion.
  • The Frost Murlocs advanced south, while Orcs and Elves expanded in the east and Giants attacked in the south.
  • Arthesian founded the Red Dragon Queen Empire in the Central Region, while Dungeon Undead surges and other conflicts further weakened human rule.

Ch. 990Expansion, Quasi-God

Green awakened in his Red Dragon Avatar, purified the faith in his soul, and discovered that his Divinity included Dragonification and Rule. He revealed his Quasi-God power to the Lava Empire’s commanders, then led the empire’s conquest beyond the Western Continent and into the Central Region.

  • Green examined his newly formed Divinity and learned that Dragonification and Rule came from the attention his Dragonification Field and way of ruling had drawn.
  • Green told Leindorf and the other commanders that the Lava Empire would conquer the entire continent, then used divine light to strengthen them and advance Leindorf to Level 18.
  • Yugulos and the other commanders pledged to conquer Toril Continent for Green after recognizing his Divinity.
  • Within a month, the Lava Empire launched its campaign, and within seven months it had conquered the Western Continent.
  • The Lava Empire invaded the human kingdoms of the Central Region, revealing that Green was a Quasi-God.

Ch. 991Great Upheaval

Green’s rise to Quasi-God reshaped the Toril Continent as its factions fortified, withdrew, or sought terms with the Lava Clan. As Green prepared to conquer the continent, three Dragonkin from the Dragon Cult’s Severin Faction arrived and asked him to become an object of worship.

  • The Ice Fishfolk gathered near the Winter Mountains and intensified the cold, while the elves and orcs formed an alliance and strengthened their defenses.
  • The human kingdoms sent envoys to repair relations between the orcs and elves, while some border kingdoms secretly approached the Lava Clan.
  • The giants abandoned their recent conquests and reportedly began building ships to leave the Toril Continent.
  • Green prepared to take the field and use his Quasi-God power to conquer the continent, but three Dragonkin visitors interrupted him.
  • The Red Dragon warrior greeted Green on behalf of the Dragon Cult’s Severin Faction and asked him to join as an object of worship.

Ch. 992The Believers Who Came Calling

Green negotiated with three representatives of the Dragon Cult’s Severin Faction, who offered to spread his faith across the major planes in exchange for joining them. After challenging the value of their offer and inspecting their contract, Green pretended to reject it, leaving the red dragon warrior preparing to respond.

  • The red dragon warrior asked Green to let the Dragon Cult spread his faith across the major Prime Material Planes, and Green questioned why the Severin Faction had chosen him.
  • The red dragon warrior explained that the Dragon Cult had discussed Green after his conquest of the Kingdom of Thebes but had been unable to catch up with his rapid rise.
  • Green asked about the Dragon Cult’s presence on the Toril Continent and learned that its forces were concentrated overseas and mainly gathered information.
  • Green argued that other powerful dragons already commanded much of the available faith and asked how the Dragon Cult would prevent conflicts, leaving the three representatives speechless.
  • Green used his dragon might to make the representatives present their contract, then had Chip scan it before examining its terms.
  • Green dismissed the contract as offering little and said he might not join, prompting the red dragon warrior to fall silent before raising his head.

Ch. 993Acceleration,

Green joined the Dragon Cult’s Severin Faction under a contract promising to spread his faith and provide resources, while keeping their alliance secret until he became a Demigod. After conquering all of Toril Continent and gathering a surge of faith, Green fell into slumber to undergo another Qualitative Transformation.

  • Green accepted the Red Dragon warriors’ offer and signed a contract to join their faction, agreeing not to reveal the alliance until he became a Demigod.
  • Bixier signed the contract for his faction, then introduced himself and the Dragon-Blooded Mages Zerbes and Bewentel to Green.
  • Green told Bixier to begin fulfilling the contract and said he might advance faster than expected.
  • Three months later, Green’s Lava Empire ruled all of Toril Continent, and the land had been transformed by his use of Black Smoke and Lava.
  • The Elves, Orcs, and Giants evacuated Toril Continent by ship, and Green let them flee overseas.
  • Green’s faith swelled after the conquest, and he fell into slumber to begin a new Qualitative Transformation.

Ch. 994Ten Years

Ten years after Green conquered Toril Continent, signs of his awakening forced Lava City's inhabitants to flee as his power transformed the land around him. Eighteen years into his slumber, Green remained asleep at the center of a vast Lava Lake, his growth and influence spreading across the continent.

  • Ten years after Green fell asleep, the Fire Element vortex over Lava City accelerated, leading the Lava Clan to expect their king to awaken and begin his path to godhood.
  • Green did not wake, and his radiating power made Lava City too hot to inhabit; the city was abandoned within half a year and destroyed over the next three years.
  • A huge Lava Lake formed, and creatures gathered near it to gain and develop Dragon Race bloodlines, while the Giants on Toril Continent were hunted.
  • Over the next five years, the Lava Lake expanded to a thousand li across and grew so hot that even Legendary Realm Lava Clan creatures could not reach its center.
  • At the lake’s center, Green remained asleep on a fiery-red boulder, having grown to fifty-five meters as his power Dragonified creatures across Toril Continent and distorted space.

Ch. 995Supernormal Growth

Green had reached Elder Dragon size while still young, a rare condition called Supernormal Growth that gave him power comparable to a Lesser Divine Power and enormous potential. Shielded from Bahamut and Tiamat, he remained undetected as the chapter explained how dragons advanced through dangerous growth stages and how the Divine World's gods drew power from different sources.

  • Green had grown to Elder Dragon size while still in his prime, a condition the Dragon Race called Supernormal Growth.
  • The chapter described how dragons risked death during hibernation and how few reached Elder Dragonhood naturally without Divinity.
  • Green's Chip had hidden his changes from Bahamut and Tiamat, preventing them from sensing or influencing him through his bloodline.
  • Green had gained Elder Dragon-level power by burning faith and could continue growing toward the strength of greater divine ranks.
  • The chapter explained that the Divine World's primordial gods drew power from the world, while faith-dependent gods retained more strength beyond it.

Ch. 996The Astral Realm Expedition

Green awakened and revealed his immense power to the Lava Clan, drawing Legendary Lifeforms from across Toril to Lava City. After identifying three infiltrators among them, he captured them and ordered Leindorf to convene a meeting in three days to decide their fate.

  • Green roared, took flight above the Magma Lake, and sent a signal that stirred the Lava Clan across the continent.
  • Legendary Lifeforms gathered at the lake and bowed to Green as the Lord of Lava and Black Smoke, the Red Dragon Emperor, and the clan leader.
  • Bixier considered how Green’s Dragonification power could attract Believers and worried that revealing it might threaten Tiamat’s authority.
  • Green scanned the assembled Legendary Lifeforms and identified three as spies from other factions.
  • Green pierced the three spies with spears of flame, sealed their souls, and ordered Leindorf to convene a meeting in three days to judge them.

Ch. 997The Current Situation

Green received Kali’s report on the prosperous Lava Empire and rewarded her with a divine blessing. After hearing reports that the legions had been reorganized and strengthened, he blessed their four commanders as well.

  • Leindorf collected the three sealed souls and rejoined the Legendary Lifeforms as Green asked Kali about the Lava Empire.
  • Kali reported that the Empire had eradicated hunger, expanded administration and education, and reached the limits of its growth.
  • Green blessed Kali, whose soul gained a sacred, immortal aura, and she professed her faith before returning to the ranks.
  • Leindorf, Ajires, Lubluk, and Yugulos reported the composition and strength of the Lava Clan’s four legions and its Auxiliary Legion.
  • Green praised the legion commanders and sent red streaks of light into each of them, granting them blessings.

Ch. 998New City

Green returned to the Lava Clan and inspected his Avatar’s soul in the palace of New Lava City. His Godhead Embryo was nearly perfected, and the Golden Flame purified the faith his followers offered it.

  • Yugulos praised Green, who blessed several Legendary Lifeforms with Divine Power and ordered Yugulos to manage the Legion.
  • Green had Kali take him to the palace, where he examined his Avatar’s condition.
  • The Lava Clan had rebuilt New Lava City far from Green after his power destroyed earlier versions and disrupted construction.
  • Green discovered that his soul had formed a crystal-clear Godhead Embryo with a Golden Flame at its center.
  • Green confirmed that the Golden Flame refined his followers’ faith into pure energy without tainting his soul.

Ch. 999World Structure

Green considered spreading his faith beyond Toril and studied the world’s planar structure as he chose his next steps toward apotheosis. He decided to travel through the Astral Realm first and summoned Bixier to ask the Dragon Cult about other Prime Material Planes.

  • Green judged that conquering Toril had been easy but that powerful deities would oppose him in larger planes, and he resolved to treat those challenges as opportunities to grow.
  • Green reviewed how the Astral Realm, Ethereal Plane, and Outer Planes were arranged and what dangers each posed to travelers.
  • Green concluded that the Divine World’s layered structure had been shaped by the Void Will and was nearly as perfect as possible.
  • Green decided to pursue apotheosis through the Astral Realm and seek more information about other Prime Material Planes from the Dragon Cult.
  • Green sent a message to Bixier, who hurried from New Lava City to the palace.

Ch. 1000Plan

Green asked Bixier for advice on expanding his faith into the Astral Realm, and learned that large-scale conquest could provoke other gods and invite catastrophic threats. Bixier proposed that the Lava Clan instead defend neglected planes from demonic invasions, though the plan would cost the clan many lives.

  • Bixier appeared before Green and addressed him as his lord, showing that he had become Green's believer.
  • Green asked Bixier how the Dragon Cult's intelligence could guide his expansion into the Astral Realm.
  • Bixier warned Green that invading contested planes could anger other gods, attract demons and devils, and risk the birth of a Demon God.
  • Bixier suggested that the Lava Clan target neglected Medium and Small Planes being invaded by demons and evil Elemental Lords.
  • Bixier proposed that the Lava Clan drive out the demons and claim the planes, potentially earning Green Divine Offices, while Green recognized the heavy casualties the fighting could cause.
