"Your juice!"

Under Senior Takako's stern older-sister authority, the twins finally stopped bringing up topics that gave Sendou a headache.

"Thanks! Your parents really felt comfortable leaving them at home?"

"These two are clever. They wouldn't just run off somewhere.

"So Mom felt at ease leaving after bringing them home," Senior Takako replied.

Then she resumed studying.

Just as Senior Takako had said, the twins were very clever.

The moment they saw Senior Takako start studying, they immediately became much quieter, even speaking cautiously.

In that quiet atmosphere, Sendou put on his headphones and lay down on the tatami, enjoying the rare peace.

There was a rare warmth in the living room shared by the four of them.

From time to time, Senior Takako asked him questions, then somehow drifted off to sleep.

"You're awake?" After who knew how long, when Sendou groggily woke up and sat up, Senior Takako asked.

"Sorry! I accidentally fell asleep!

"How long was I out?" Though he did not know how long he had slept, his body told him it had not been overnight.

"It's already eleven," Senior Takako said with a smile.

"Is that so?" Sendou replied, finishing the remaining juice in his glass.

He noticed that the two little ones were long gone. It was probably time for them to sleep.

"I should get going, Takako-san!

"Is there anything you need help with?

"We might as well take care of it while I'm here!" Sendou said as he stood up.

"No!

"I've already solved all the problems I ran into today!

"Don't let my appearance fool you—I'm still a student applying to the Todai Faculty of Medicine!" Senior Takako said, even striking a muscle-flexing pose.

"Then I'll be heading back!"

Senior Takako got up to see him out.

"Oh my, Sendou-kun
