Chapter Summaries

Luo Mio used Life and Death to counter Vali’s repeated Divides, consuming his own Life Force until his Character Carrier transformed into the Herrscher of Death. He then cut apart Vali’s Divide with Black Abyss, leaving Vali to recognize the power of death.

• Ddraig told Issei that Luo Mio was restoring his halved power by consuming his own life, while Luo Mio kept attacking Vali despite Albion’s repeated Divides.
• Luo Mio’s Life and Death powers transformed his body and shattered Vali’s Half Dimension, revealing his Herrscher of Death form.
• Luo Mio spoke briefly with the system, which complained that he had merged Life and Death into this Character Carrier instead of Binding.

Luo Mio heard from the little Herrscher that his girlfriend was doing well and still waiting for him, leaving him delighted. Soon after, a strange energy appeared over Kuoh Town, and Luo Mio sent the Spears of Judas toward its source, causing the energy to vanish.

• The little Herrscher told Luo Mio that his girlfriend was well and had asked her to say she would keep waiting for him, before their connection faded.
• Luo Mio happily made breakfast and told Ophis and Hidamaru that he had heard good news from a friend.
• After breakfast, Luo Mio went out to buy ingredients while Ophis and Hidamaru stayed home.
• Ophis and Hidamaru sensed an unfamiliar aura descend over Kuoh Town and considered whether Great Red had allowed its arrival.
• Luo Mio detected the strange energy and sent the Spears of Judas toward its source, after which the energy fluctuation disappeared.

Luo Mio captured a mechanical creature from beyond Earth that had attacked him and learned it was sent to kill Issei Hyoudou Gremory and change history. The creature self-destructed before Luo Mio could learn more, while two youths from thirty years in the future arrived at the restored forest.

• Luo Mio found a silver mechanical creature in a crater outside Kuoh Town and deduced that it came from beyond Earth.
• The creature identified Luo Mio as the Strongest Human who had disappeared thirty years ago, then attacked him with beams from its eyes.
• Luo Mio dodged the beams, froze the creature with Rhapsody of the Night, bound it, and restored the damaged forest.
• Kurenai and his younger brother arrived at the forest, realized the UL had been dealt with, and decided to try contacting Governor Azazel because they came from the future.
• Hidamaru took control of the creature, and it named Rahu Seven Luminaries and Rezo Roado as its masters and revealed its objective was to kill Issei Hyoudou Gremory and change history.
• The creature's brain exploded before Luo Mio could question it further, and Luo Mio suspected the other side had noticed something.

Luo Mio learned that the mechanical attackers sought to kill Issei and change history, while Azazel reported Loki’s threat to the peace talks in the Underworld. The next morning, Luo Mio went to Kuoh Town’s underground space and faced several stronger silver mechanical creatures that identified him as Die Goddess Kallen Kaslana and moved to eliminate him.

• Luo Mio told Azazel about the mysterious mechanical creature and its apparent plan to alter history by killing Issei.
• Azazel revealed that a classified contact had asked him to meet alone in Kuoh Town’s underground space, but he had declined because he was in the Underworld.

Luo Mio encountered two young men from thirty years in the future, Himejima Kurenai and Zen Quarta, who revealed they were the children of Issei Hyoudou. After they fought off silver mechanical creatures called ULs, Luo Mio protected them from a hidden attack and brought them to a café, where Kurenai recalled how his father and Vali had wanted to catch up to her.

Luo Mio learned more about Issei’s future children and coordinated with Azazel to keep Issei and Rias occupied while the time travelers were investigated. He joined Himejima Kurenai and Gradual in the mountains, where they found UL fighting a hooded swordsman identified as Rias and Issei’s son, Ikus Gremory.

Luo Mio and Ikus faced Luma Idola, one of Rezo Roado’s Four Generals, after he arrived to support Loki. Luma Idola tried to withdraw with Loki after Luo Mio shattered his Protective Shield.

• Ikus cut through the ULs with his holy sword, and Zen explained that Ikus was the allied forces’ youngest ACE and a powerful swordsman trained by Kiba and Vali.
• A cyan humanoid machine appeared behind Loki and identified itself as Luma Idola, one of Rezo Roado’s Four Generals among Melvazoa’s Rahu Seven Luminaries.
• Himejima Kurenai explained that the Rahu Seven Luminaries were powerful retainers of Melvazoa, with their first member strong enough to rival Great Red.
• Luma Idola criticized Loki for acting before the rendezvous and mocked Ikus’s strength, prompting Ikus to prepare to fight him.
• Luo Mio stopped Ikus and confronted Luma Idola, who underestimated her despite Loki warning that she could rival Odin and Zeus.
• Luo Mio’s frost-mist attack shattered Luma Idola’s Protective Shield, and Luma Idola opened a teleportation formation beneath himself and Loki.

Luo Mio fought Luma Idola and blocked Rezo Roado from fully entering the world, but Rezo Roado escaped with Loki. Luma Idola claimed its body was only an avatar, and Luo Mio challenged its confidence in surviving the Die Goddess.

• Ikus attacked Luma Idola, but its Protective Shield blocked him, and Luo Mio ordered Himejima Kurenai to take Jian and Ikus away.
• Luo Mio overwhelmed Luma Idola with her power and used Black Abyss: Bloom to consume its energy cannon and destroy its left arm.
• Rezo Roado shattered the sky and reached through, but Luo Mio's Death Black Mist and light restored the breach and shielded her companions.
• Rezo Roado formed a transport formation and took Loki away while Luo Mio trapped Luma Idola and threw Black Abyss at Rezo Roado's arm.

Luo Mio erased Luma Idola and drove Loki and Rezo Roado into hiding, then stopped Ikus from rushing off to find them. Ikus learned more about his absent father, Issei, and questioned Luo Mio’s claim to be his elder.

• Luo Mio used her Herrscher of Death power to erase Luma Idola’s existence, and Himejima Kurenai, Jian, and Ikus watched in shock.
• Rezo Roado told Loki that Luo Mio was a threat and said they should wait before pursuing their plans to change history.
• Ikus tried to leave alone to find Loki and Rezo Roado because Asia Mother could not afford to wait, but Luo Mio restrained him with her Chains of Judas.
• Himejima Kurenai and Jian explained that Issei was often away for work, leaving them mostly raised by Yuto Kiba and Vali.

Luo Mio explained that Loki and Rezo Roado would be forced to appear when Issei, Rias, and the others returned from the Underworld in three days, and she planned to confront them then. After treating Ikus to an enormous café bill, she brought the brothers to her surprisingly ordinary home.

Luo Mio met Hyoudou Airi, Shidou Makoto, and the cat-eared Shirayuki and Kurotsu, then agreed to host Airi and the girls for two nights. Airi explained why they needed a place to stay while waiting for Loki and Rezo Roado to act.

• Hyoudou Airi and Shidou Makoto introduced themselves to Luo Mio, who noticed they resembled their mothers and sensed Fafnir with Airi.
• Yao told the group that Himejima Kurenai, Ikus, Shirayuki, and Kurotsu had met up with Brother Red, and led Airi and Makoto to join them.

• Gaspar told Luo Mio about the worlds ExE and DxD, the otherworldly forces, and Demon God Regarzerua’s recorded future defeat and death.
• Gaspar warned that Rezo Roado was hiding and gathering forces, while the other Rahu Seven Luminaries had begun making moves; Luo Mio described the preparations with Azazel, Sirzechs, and Odin and heard Gaspar’s final plan.
• At the amusement park, Luo Mio reminded Ikus that the battle was one day away, and Ikus apologized to Robertina before Airi took the children out to have fun.
