In the blink of an eye, more than three months had passed.

Jerry opened his eyes in the pattering sound of rain that morning. Turning his head, he saw that a light rain was falling outside.

He got up from the tatami, waved a hand to use magic to wash up, got dressed, then reached out to push open the door and headed toward the villa's restaurant.

If he had calculated the time correctly, today should be the day Yūko Ichihara had agreed to send him to another world.

Over the past three months, he had completely absorbed all the laws of this Small World. Or rather, he had actually finished collecting them in less than a month.

That was because he had discovered that although this world differed from the Cardcaptor World he had come from, they shared many of the same low-level laws.

In other words, he had already absorbed many of those low-level laws in the Cardcaptor World.

Perhaps it was because the Cardcaptor World, the world he was currently in, and the other worlds he would visit had all been created by the same person—or the same being.

That was why, even though they were different worlds, many of their laws were identical.

The Small Worlds he traveled to through the panel, on the other hand, had been created by different beings, so their laws differed far more.

Take the Harry Potter World, The Sorcerer's Apprentice World, and the Fairy Tail World. Their creators definitely were not the same being who had created the Cardcaptor World and this world.

However, that also meant that the total number of low-level laws he could collect from the various worlds might be far lower than he had initially expected.
