"Price?"

Kurogane looked utterly confused. He knew nothing about the Witch's rules.

Fay, however, clearly understood and explained at the right moment:

"The Witch's rule is that to obtain something, you have to exchange something of equal value, right?"

"That's right. The price of traveling between worlds is enormous. Even if you exchanged your most precious possessions, it still wouldn't be enough."

Yūko Ichihara nodded, then continued:

"However, if the three of you pay together, it should be about enough."

"What about him?"

Kurogane pointed at Jerry, who stood nearby.

"Isn't he traveling between worlds too?"

"Mr. Carmen has already paid his price. He doesn't need to pay again."

Yūko Ichihara replied casually.

"I'm willing. As long as Princess Sakura can be saved, I'm willing to pay any price."

Xiaolang's tone was resolute.

Fay nodded with a false smile. He had already known all this before coming here.

Kurogane hesitated for a moment before finally nodding as well.
