Mavis raised her hand again.

Jellal looked at the little girl Mavis, narrowed his eyes, and revealed an angry expression.

"You're playing me!"

He simply did not believe that Fairy Tail's First Guild Master was still alive, much less that this little girl with not a trace of magic power was the First Guild Master.

So he thought they were just trying to deceive him.

What he did not know was that everything Jerry had said was true. The reason he could not sense the immense magic power within Mavis was because Jerry had cast a Super Shielding Charm on her.
