Twenty-six days later, at dusk, Jerry strolled through the streets of New York and reached into the newsstand beside him to buy today's paper.

The front page featured a photo and report of Spider-Man, who had vanished for over twenty days, reappearing to fight criminals. Apparently, Peter Parker had finally overcome his psychological issues and returned to normal.

That might also have had something to do with Harry taking the initiative to find Peter and clear up their misunderstanding.

That day, Jerry extracted Peter's memories and placed them in Harry's mind, letting Harry learn that his father had not been killed by Spider-Man, but by his own glider.

He also understood Peter's painstaking intentions. Peter had not explained himself because he did not want Harry to learn that the great father in his heart had actually been a cruel murderer.

At the same time, Harry experienced Peter's greatness through Peter's memories.

So that night, after bringing in the butler to verify that his father's wounds had indeed been caused by the glider, Harry immediately set off for Peter's rented apartment.

After talking through the night, the two reconciled and agreed to forget about Mary Jane, who was about to get married, and each find new true love.
