Book of the Vishanti (First Update)

Seeing Jerry launch an attack for the first time, Thanos guessed that his opponent might merely be a fake illusion meant to stall for time, but he still did not dare let his guard down. He hurriedly raised his left hand and unleashed the power of the Infinity Stones to block it.

However, something else utterly unbelievable happened. The blue beam ignored every bit of defensive power from the Infinity Stones and continued straight toward his face.

Could this attack be fake too?

That was the only answer Thanos could think of.

Yet the facts proved that his guess was outrageously wrong.

The instant his powerful body, nearly immune to most energy and physical attacks, was struck by the blue beam, he actually loosened his grip instinctively.

Then the gauntlet on his left hand, embedded with five Infinity Stones, and the Tyrant's Blade in his right hand both flew out and landed in the hands of the person opposite him.

"Alright, I'll leave the rest to you!"

Holding the Infinity Gauntlet in his left hand and the Tyrant's Blade in his right, Jerry turned to Stephen, Professor X, and the others as they got back to their feet and walked over, smiling.

Without the Infinity Gauntlet and the Tyrant's Blade, Thanos was just a pure tank. Against Earth's Super Heroes with their diverse abilities, he could only passively take a beating.

Professor X stood stunned for quite a while before finally reacting. He immediately joined the other heroes in surrounding and attacking Thanos.

It was mainly because everything that had happened after Jerry appeared had been far too beyond their expectations.

Who could have imagined that a Super Hero they had never even met could fight the terrifying Thanos alone—or rather, crush Thanos one-sidedly—and so easily disarm him of both
