Secondary Awakening (First Update)

"Charles, come to the lab after class."

In one of the castle's large living rooms, Jerry greeted Charles, who was teaching the Mutants, then carried Apocalypse to the laboratory.

After World War I ended, Charles and Erik followed Jerry's advice and divided the Mutant organization they had established into four departments.

The first department was Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, fully overseen by Charles. Its main duties were using Cerebro to locate Mutants and guiding them in developing their abilities.

The second department was the X Intelligence Department, headed by Mystique Raven, who could transform into anyone. Its primary tasks were recruiting the Mutants Charles found and obtaining vital intelligence from human nations.

The third department was the Brotherhood Action Department, led by Erik. He led Mutants skilled in combat to openly punish evil Mutants and humans who harmed Mutants.

The fourth department was the Research Department, headed by Hank. It recruited Mutants with scientific research talent to develop all kinds of equipment that could strengthen the Mutant organization.

Because Jerry had placed a human-repelling spell around the castle, the various nations could do nothing to them, even though they were all unfriendly toward Mutants now.

"Is he the Mutant you said could help us improve our abilities?"

In the laboratory, Charles, Erik, and Hank had gathered again. They looked curiously at Apocalypse in Jerry's hand.

"Yes. His name is Apocalypse, one of the earliest Mutants."

Jerry quickly explained Apocalypse's origins, abilities, and why he had brought him here.

"So he's over five thousand years old?"

Hank looked at Apocalypse as though he were looking at a mummy.

Charles, standing beside him, frowned.

"Based on what you said, I'm afraid he won't be very willing to help once he wakes up and regains his abilities."
