"Jerry, are you really leaving?"
At the entrance to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, Charles and the other Mutants looked at Jerry with reluctance in their eyes.
They knew that once Jerry left, he would most likely never return.
"Yes, it's time to go."
Jerry looked at Charles and the others, feeling somewhat emotional as well.
Before this, he had always tried not to stay in any one parallel universe for too long, precisely because he feared situations like this.
People had feelings, and he was no exception. The longer he stayed, the more attachments he would inevitably form. It was better to make an equivalent exchange, finish what needed to be done quickly, and leave cleanly.
Fortunately, now that he had found Jean Grey, he no longer needed to use Charles as a medium. He could directly use Jean Grey instead.
From now on, in any parallel universe he visited, he could immediately extract the Phoenix Force without becoming entangled with the Charleses of those universes.
"Let me give you a gift. It should be able to help you out."
As if recalling something, Jerry waved his hand, and a massive cage appeared before everyone.
"Owls?"
Looking at the hundreds of owls of different species inside the cage, everyone was utterly baffled.
Jerry smiled at their expressions.
"Don't underestimate them. They aren't ordinary owls, but magical owls. As long as you give them someone's name, no matter where that person is hiding in the world, they can find them."
With Cerebro, Charles could locate any Mutant on Earth, and later, he could even lock onto humans.
But that was only under normal circumstances.
If a Mutant was hidden within a specially designed high-tech building that blocked brainwaves, Charles would be unable to find them.
