Catwoman (Second Update)

"Alohomora!"

His tail pointed at the lock on the cage, shooting out a blue beam. With a snap, the cage lock sprang open under the power of the Unlocking Charm.

However, just as Jerry reached the cage door, a meow suddenly sounded behind him.

The mother cat had been awakened by the sound of the lock opening. Seeing Jerry crawling out, she got up and bit toward the back of his neck. She wanted to carry her disobedient kitten back to sleep.

"Stupefy!"

Jerry's newborn body was nowhere near as strong as the mother cat's, so he helplessly cast another Stunning Spell, putting her back to sleep.

"You can live here for now. I'll come back for you later."

After leaving the cat cage, Jerry glanced at the mother cat and his three siblings in this life, then turned and headed for the pet shop's entrance.

Tabby Cats might not be worth much in China, but they were fairly expensive abroad. The mother cat and the other three kittens would not have a bad life in the pet shop.

Before leaving, he placed marks on all four cats. Once he recovered a little more strength, he would return to take them away.

"Smoke Screen!"

Just before entering the pet shop's surveillance range, he cast another Smokescreen Charm to block the cameras' view. Only then did Jerry use the Unlocking Charm to open the door and leave the pet shop.

Actually, if he had enough magic power, he could have simply Apparated out of the pet shop.

Unfortunately, the magic power gained from just one day of cultivation was only enough for him to barely cast a few of the simplest spells. Spells involving space, such as Apparition, consumed quite a lot of magic power.
