Negotiation (First Update)

After finishing the lunch Martha had made at the farm, Clark and Jerry flew toward the temporary combat command center outside Metropolis.

Clark had changed into the House of El bio-engineered battle suit he had taken from the Kryptonian scout ship—the Superman suit with the S emblem and cape.

However, unlike the bizarre design Jerry traditionally associated with red underwear worn on the outside, Superman's suit in this universe looked far more normal.

Since this suit came from the highly advanced Krypton and had been designed by Clark's father, Jor-El, Krypton's greatest scientist, it was more than merely decorative.

Jerry activated the Analysis Magic Array in his eyes and gave it a rough scan. He discovered that not only was its material virtually indestructible and highly flexible, it was also bulletproof, resistant to extreme heat, and capable of withstanding absolute zero.

Although Superman was impervious to blades and bullets, possessed immense strength, and could even survive a nuclear explosion, he had relatively poor resistance to magical energy.

The material of Superman's suit could help him resist magical attacks to a certain extent.

That was also why Jerry, despite possessing powerful magic, remained wary of Zod and the other Kryptonians.

Zod and the others' suits might not be as good as Superman's, but they were made using the same materials and technology.

Of course, while these suits were formidable, they had a fatal weakness just like Kryptonians themselves: a light slash with a small piece of Kryptonite could cut right through them.

Jerry did not have any Kryptonite on hand. If he had even one piece to analyze, he could use the Transfiguration Charm to create large quantities of Kryptonite. Fighting Kryptonians would then be ridiculously easy.

Unfortunately, there was no Kryptonite on Earth yet. In this universe, Kryptonite was established
