Chapter Summaries

Jerry prevented Star-Lord from leaving Earth to confront Ego and took him and the Guardians to Kamar-Taj to speak with Ancient One about the Infinity Stones and coming threats. The chapter ended with Jerry meeting Ancient One over milk tea.

• Jerry revealed that he had bound Dawn with Contract Magic, preventing Star-Lord from using the Milano to reach Ego.
• Gamora, Rocket, and the others persuaded Star-Lord to stay on Earth, and Jerry promised to make up his lost eight hundred million later.
• Jerry opened a portal to Kamar-Taj and brought Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax with him.

Jerry returned to Earth, consulted Ancient One about the Power Stone, and agreed to safeguard it alongside the Reality Stone. Back at his Queens villa, he received a panicked call from Dr. Banner asking for help as Hulk began to emerge.

• Ancient One sensed that Jerry had grown much stronger and discussed how close his ordinary magical strength had come to hers.
