Chapter Summaries

Jerry asked Makarov about numerous types of magic, then spoke with Fairy Tail’s Mages to learn their names and abilities. He discovered that the Guild had four powerful S-Class Mages, most of whom were away on missions, while Mirajane’s past remained unclear.

• Jerry told Mirajane that he had bought a house on Sivilla Street, near Lucy’s home, then asked Makarov for help understanding Creation Magic.
• Jerry asked Makarov about Requip Magic, Take Over Magic, and more than a dozen other kinds of magic during a two-hour lesson.
• Makarov advised Jerry to focus on the magic he was best at, and Jerry said he was only curious about other kinds.
• Jerry chatted with Guild Mages to learn their names and magic, and found out that Laxus Dreyar, Mystogan, and Erza Scarlet were away on S-Class Missions.

Jerry met Mystogan, the elusive Fairy Tail S-Class Mage, and dispelled his sleep magic after Mystogan put the guild to sleep. After Mystogan left with an S-Class mission, Erza invited Jerry to team up, but he declined and chose to focus on magic research.

• Erza prepared to take Jerry to meet an armor shop and teach him Knight Requip Magic, but Mystogan's Sleep Magic swept through the guild.
• Jerry dispelled the sleep magic with Ennervate, and Makarov identified the masked mage as Mystogan, a Fairy Tail S-Class Mage.
