History

Foundation in the Dou Qi Continent

Lin Yu proposed creating an independent faction after gathering his closest companions from the Inner Pill Tower. Han Shanshan, Feng Xian, Yao Chen, Hu Jiujiu, Du Ning, Zi Yan, Cai Lin, Cai Die, Xuan Yi, and Yao Tianhuo all agreed to join. Lin Yu then formally named the organization the Ashen Ruins Territory and selected the Ancient Wasteland Region as its base. 71

The early faction gained immediate legitimacy through powerful supporters. Xiao Jinghou joined after reaching One-Star Dou Saint with the aid of a Dou Saint skeleton provided by Lin Yu, while the Great Elder of the Little Pill Tower pledged the Pill Tower’s full assistance. 71

Consolidation and Expansion

The territory’s early palace complex was already established by the time Elder Zhuli arrived seeking Zi Yan. 75 Its security was tested when Soul Clan members Hun Tu and Hun Sha sealed the surrounding space and suppressed ordinary disciples with their aura. Zhukun killed both attackers effortlessly, causing the territory’s disciples to celebrate their first major public victory. 81 82

Despite possessing extraordinary upper-tier experts, the territory initially lacked a broad foundation. Yao Tianhuo reported more than 1,200 disciples and ten Battle Venerables, but only one Five-Revolution Battle Venerable. Lin Yu responded by summoning the Flower Sect, Burning Flame Valley, and Sound Valley for annexation. 90

The Flower Sect submitted first, followed by Sound Valley and Burning Flame Valley. Lin Yu ordered Yao Tianhuo to create spatial passages so their disciples could relocate to the territory. 91 Lin Yu also ordered the Snake-People Clan and the surviving Xiao Clan members to move from the Northwestern Continent to his Central Plains-based force. 91

Division into Outer and Inner Territories

Over the following ten years, the Ashen Ruins Territory grew into a force with twenty-seven Dou Gods. Before ascending, Lin Yu divided its structure into an outer territory remaining on the Dou Qi Continent and an inner territory to be built in the Great Thousand World. Yao Tianhuo was appointed to govern the outer territory. 105

Lin Yu later completed a permanent interplanar passage between the Dou Qi Continent and the Great Thousand World. This route enabled qualified experts to progress through the Heavenly Xuan Continent, Dou Qi Continent, and Great Thousand World in sequence, creating a sustainable path for the territory to produce higher-level cultivators. 120 122

Great Thousand World Establishment

After arriving in the Great Thousand World, Lin Yu founded a new Ashen Ruins Territory in the northernmost region. His reputation for destroying the Fire Spirit Clan and matching the West Heaven War Emperor attracted more than 10,000 recruits within days. 116

The location’s proximity to the Extraterritorial Evil Clan made many powerful cultivators hesitant to join. Lin Yu personally resolved this weakness by constructing a vast sect-protecting formation and a spirit-gathering array that increased the territory’s spiritual energy. 116

Hun Tu and Hun Sha attacked the Ashen Ruins Territory to investigate the Soul Hall’s destruction. Their aura incapacitated ordinary disciples, but Zhukun killed both intruders and returned with their corpses and souls. 81 82

Extraterritorial Evil Clan Invasion

Three Nether Demon Emperors, dozens of Demon Kings, and 100,000 demonic soldiers marched on the newly founded Great Thousand World territory. The Calamity Poison Array destroyed the vanguard, while the Origin Rune formation inflicted massive casualties on the main army. 116 117

Lin Yu later defeated and suppressed all three Nether Demon Emperors. Their defeat established the territory’s reputation throughout the Great Thousand World and drew stronger cultivators and factions to its side. 119

Maha Ancient Clan Attack
