"Tianyi, how is Itachi's illness?"
Tianyi lifted his teacup, took a light sip, then set it down.
He did not answer immediately. Instead, he took out a sheet of paper from his bag and spread it across the table.
A simple diagram was drawn on it—a cross-section of a heart, with the atria, ventricles, and interventricular septum labeled.
"I've already given him a thorough examination." Tianyi's finger moved across the diagram.
"He has a congenital cardiopulmonary condition. More specifically, he has a ventricular septal defect."
Fugaku's brows drew tightly together.
Tianyi continued, "Abnormal cardiac pumping can cause pulmonary congestion or insufficient blood supply, affecting lung function.
"In severe cases, the lungs may become necrotic, resulting in coughing up blood."
Fugaku's expression changed. His fingers clenched slightly, and his voice trembled.
"Tianyi, is this illness serious? Can it be cured? Please, you have to save him!"
Tianyi patted Fugaku's shoulder reassuringly.
"Don't panic. Let me explain it slowly first." He pointed at the heart diagram.
"Let me put it this way. The heart is like a two-story house with two rooms on each floor—the two upstairs rooms are called atria, while the two downstairs rooms are called ventricles.
"There is a wall between the left and right sides, called the interventricular septum."
Fugaku stared fixedly at the diagram.
"Normally, this wall is complete, and the left and right sides do not connect. On the left is bright-red, oxygenated blood; on the right is dark-red, deoxygenated blood. They each follow their own paths without interfering with one another."
Tianyi's tone remained calm and patient.
"But in Itachi's case, he was born with a hole in that wall. Medically, it's called a ventricular septal defect."
Fugaku's lips trembled faintly.
Tianyi continued, "Because the pressure on the left side is higher, oxygenated blood rushes
