"Summoning Technique!"
The Animal Path slammed both hands onto the ground, chakra surging into the earth like a flood bursting through a dam.
White smoke exploded outward, and an enormous rhinoceros charged out of it, covered in thick stone armor. Its horn was sharp as a spear, and its four hooves shattered the ground as it barreled straight toward Rōshi.
It was the size of a small mountain. The ground shook with every step, cracks spreading in all directions.
Rōshi dodged sideways.
"Undersea Needles!"
A mass of concentrated magma gathered in his palm. He struck the rhinoceros on the head, and the superheated lava erupted the instant it made contact.
Magma poured into the gaps in its stone armor like quicksilver, melting skin and bone alike.
The magma seeped through the cracks and burst the stone armor apart from within. Heavy plates peeled away one by one, exposing the charred flesh beneath.
The rhinoceros let out an agonized scream. Its massive body swayed violently, its legs buckled, and it finally crashed to the ground.
It twitched a few times on the ground, then went still. Wisps of smoke rose from its body, and the smell of burning hung in the air.
"Water Release: Foam Raging Waves!"
An enormous crab had appeared at the edge of the battlefield unnoticed. Its shell was dark blue, its claws thick as pillars, and vast quantities of white foam streamed from its mouth.
The foam surged forward like an ocean, covering the entire ground and swallowing Rōshi along with the magma coating his body.
The foam clung to Rōshi's body like millions of ants gnawing at his magma shell. Under its relentless wash, the searing lava rapidly cooled and peeled away, turning into chunks of gray-black scorched earth that clattered to the ground.
