Sea Fog

Late at night, all was silent.

On the pitch-black sea in the distance, a rusted, dilapidated ship rose and fell gently with the waves.

On board, several figures in tattered clothes moved about under the faint light, their faces weary.

Decades ago, soldiers from another country had occupied this place and never left.

At that moment, the soldiers on night watch were making their routine patrols across the deck, their eyes vigilantly sweeping the surrounding waters.

Just moments ago, they had received exhilarating news:

A supply speedboat had broken through the outer blockade and brought them desperately needed provisions.

Inside the cabin, beneath dim lights, the remaining soldiers sat gathered together, quietly discussing how to distribute the supplies once they arrived.

Over the past three months, their supply lines had been subjected to an unrelenting, severe blockade, and their reserves had long since run dry.

The situation had become extremely dire. Though they had occasionally received small amounts of supplies that slipped through the blockade,
