The Pedantic Hyuga

A figure slipped through a gap in the crowd.

He walked straight up to Tianyi and blocked his path.

The newcomer wore the Hyuga Clan's standard white traditional attire, his expression stern.

His forehead was smooth. He was none other than Hyuga Hiashi, heir to the Hyuga Main House.

"Tianyi," Hiashi said evenly, his voice reaching Tianyi clearly through the surrounding clamor.

"By order of the clan head and the Council of Elders, you are to come to the Main House conference room.

"The clan needs to speak with you regarding your performance on the battlefield this time, as well as... other matters."

The noise around them seemed to fade at that instant. Several nearby shinobi from the same unit looked over, some surprised and others understanding.

The Main House summoning someone from the Branch House, especially at a moment of triumph like this, carried implications worth pondering.

Before Tianyi could respond, a large hand suddenly landed on his shoulder.

Tsunade had somehow come over. She glanced at Hiashi, then at Tianyi.

Her usual domineering expression remained, but she deliberately raised her voice enough for those nearby to hear clearly.

"Kid, remember what I told you. Go deal with your clan business first.

"If you feel stifled after you're done, or if you run into any trouble, come find me anytime.

"You can find me in the Medical Department or at the casino."

Her words sounded casual, but they clearly drew a line and declared her protective stance.

Tianyi understood immediately and gave Tsunade a slight bow. "Yes, Master."

Only then did he turn to Hiashi, his expression calm and unruffled.

"I understand. Let's go."

Tianyi followed behind Hiashi, leaving the main force and the cheering crowd.

The clamor quickly fell behind them, as though separated by an invisible barrier.
