To avoid being surrounded from the outside by Dhruv's "Inviolable Domain," Okkotsu, Uro, and Ryu Ishigori all stopped expanding their domains at the same time.
Above the rooftop, the three incomplete domains shattered under Dhruv's pressure, scattering fragments of cursed energy across the sky.
Dhruv's shikigami swarmed in from every direction. The pterosaurs flying overhead attacked first, opening their mouths and spewing fire at the rooftop.
Blast after blast of flame demolished the rooftop where the three had been standing, forcing them to scatter and dodge.
Meanwhile, at the far end of the street below, the Giant-Toothed Monsters began circling around Okkotsu and the others.
As the Giant-Toothed Monsters crawled forward, they crushed one building after another.
At the same time, a pink "Inviolable Domain" formed along the paths they traced.
After leaping from the rooftop into another building, Okkotsu quickly adjusted his stance upon landing and scanned the battlefield.
Takako Uro was fighting several pterosaurs in the sky, constantly dodging their jets of fire and occasionally counterattacking with an "Ushura Bullet."
On another rooftop, Rika had started fighting Ryu Ishigori. The human and cursed spirit traded punches in a fierce brawl.
And Ryu Ishigori was fighting four opponents at once!
He stood in the middle, attacking both sides.
While exchanging blows with Rika at close range, he found time to fire his Cursed Energy Cannon in three directions: at Takako Uro in the sky, Dhruv's pterosaur shikigami, and Yuta Okkotsu.
He really was firing on all fronts, cutting quite an imposing figure!
It all happened in a flash. Okkotsu had barely landed and hadn't had time to look around before Ryu Ishigori's Cursed Energy Cannon was already flying at his face.
