In other words, he himself was not subject to the barrier's restrictions. He could simply walk out and leave it behind!

Granted, once a domain was deployed, its location could not be changed.
His "Womb Profusion" was now trapped inside the barrier. To use it again, Kenjaku would first have to dismiss his domain, then deploy it anew.
During that interval, dismissing his domain would briefly send his "Anti-Gravity System" into cursed technique burnout.
But that was not fatal. Kenjaku still possessed "Cursed Spirit Manipulation," which he had obtained from Suguru Geto.
He could easily use that technique to ride out the cursed technique burnout, then deploy his Open Domain again!
As he spoke, Kenjaku dismissed his "Womb Profusion," then stepped back and walked straight out of the barrier's range.
Kenjaku smiled at Yuki Tsukumo.
"Yuki Tsukumo, incidentally, my cursed technique burnout only lasts three minutes.
"In three minutes, I'll deploy my Open Domain again. And this time, Tengen's barrier won't trap me.
"So will you stay, or take this opportunity to escape?"
Yet there was not a trace of fear on Yuki Tsukumo's face!
She took her stance and bounced twice on the spot.
"Run away? Hmph! That's what losers do."
"I'll tear you apart in these three minutes!"
