"Detonate!" Filled with fury, Deidara raised a hand before his eyes, guarding against Itachi's Genjutsu.
Yamato was stunned. He discovered that, at some point, a tiny bug had appeared on his shoulder.
More precisely, it was a small white clay grasshopper. Deidara had secretly scattered them while flying high overhead.

An explosion suddenly erupted atop the wooden pillar.
"Serves you right!" Deidara was overjoyed.
From within the explosion's thick smoke, a great number of wooden pillars suddenly shot out, charging straight at Deidara.
Itachi rushed out of the smoke, stepping on the wooden pillars as he sprinted like the wind.
Yamato used Wood Release to construct a wooden pillar staircase, and Itachi used it to charge toward Deidara.
Seeing that his attack had failed to hurt Itachi, Deidara grew even angrier and threw out Explosive Clay one piece after another.
All the thrown Explosive Clay transformed into white birds and shot toward Itachi.
Itachi moved with astonishing agility, flipping and leaping several times to evade the white bird explosives. However, the wooden pillars beneath his feet were blasted to pieces.
Yamato continued exerting himself, creating several enormous wooden pillars in succession, as though constructing a pavilion in the sky.
Itachi leaped continuously, rising and falling through the air as he stepped on the wooden pillars to ascend, closing directly on Deidara.
"Don't joke around!" Deidara threw out another large amount of Explosive Clay, clearly intending to force Itachi to stop.

Seventeen explosions erupted in rapid succession high in the sky.
