"Yamato, witness history!" Naruto gave Karin a meaningful look.
Karin understood at once. She flashed to Gaara's side and gently placed a hand on his back.
Gaara instantly felt his chakra fall into disorder, and a strange sensation rose within him.
To calm Gaara, Karin explained, "I've undone the sealing technique on you. The tailed beast will be released."
"Naruto—" Yamato struggled. "You're actually doing this?!"
"Urgh—" Gaara immediately lost consciousness. Unable to support himself, he dropped to his knees with his mouth wide open.
Under everyone's shocked gazes, fine sand continuously poured from Gaara's mouth.
Naruto frowned, thinking, Is this how the One-Tail leaves its jinchuriki after the seal is removed?
Naruto observed Gaara's condition and found it vastly different from the Nine-Tails.
If the seal on Naruto ever loosened, the Nine-Tails' chakra would leak out and directly devour him.
Once Naruto was completely consumed, the Nine-Tails would reappear in the world.
Judging by Gaara's current state, after the seal was removed, the One-Tail seemed unable to directly devour him and could only slowly emerge through his mouth.
"So that's how it is." Naruto watched Gaara continuously vomit sand. "All tailed beasts are essentially aggregates of chakra—conscious aggregates of chakra. But the One-Tail's chakra is nowhere near as domineering as the Nine-Tails'."
