After entering Konoha Village, Kisame Hoshigaki felt extremely uncomfortable.
"Itachi is in this village. Just entering this place makes me sick."
Kisame Hoshigaki wore a look of disgust. He had not felt much about Konoha before, but Itachi's betrayal had made him hate Konoha as well.
"How are we supposed to find Naruto?"
Kisame Hoshigaki disliked this mission. They had come to Konoha to deliver a tailed beast to Naruto; it was practically handing him a grand gift.
Obito, wearing an orange mask, froze for a moment before running over to ask a passerby for directions with a foolish air.
"Excuse me, where is Naruto Uzumaki's home?"
Kisame Hoshigaki was dumbfounded. Obito's decision to ask passersby for directions was utterly unwise.
Sure enough, the ANBU ninjas immediately noticed them.
How could outsiders asking in Konoha Village for the home address of Naruto Uzumaki, a Konoha Jonin, possibly avoid drawing the ANBU's attention?
Kisame Hoshigaki merely sneered a few times.
After Obito learned the exact address, he led Kisame Hoshigaki toward Naruto's home.
Meanwhile, the ANBU ninjas had already begun moving. They arrived at Naruto's home ahead of them and thoroughly searched the place first.
"Naruto isn't here."
"Report this to the Hokage."
"Request reinforcements and set traps nearby."
"Once those two enter Naruto's house, we'll launch the attack."
"Yes."
After reaching an agreement, the ANBU ninjas split up and acted separately.
Not long afterward, Obito brought Kisame Hoshigaki to Naruto's small house.
"What a letdown." Obito looked at Naruto's tiny house and instantly lost half his interest. "The Nine-Tails lives in this dump? I thought he'd live somewhere more impressive."
Obito had once attacked Konoha Village. That had been the day Naruto was born, when Obito attacked Kushina Uzumaki as she was giving birth.
