Otsutsuki Cang's body shattered. There was nothing left to put back together.
Otsutsuki Ming stood nearby, his pupils contracting sharply.
Before he could react, Saint Guan Yu stepped forward.
The red-faced man in green robes stroked his long beard. His narrow eyes half-lidded, he spoke in a booming voice.
"My blade spares the old and the young. Tell me, which are you?"
Otsutsuki Ming froze. He still hadn't recovered from seeing Otsutsuki Cang killed in an instant, and now this question came out of nowhere. "Old or young? What are you talking about?"
"I asked whether you are old or young," Guan Yu said evenly. "If you are neither, then you are in your prime. My blade spares the old and the young, but it cuts down those in their prime."
"I... I'm not old, and I'm not young," Otsutsuki Ming said. "I'm an Eternal War General."
"Then you're in your prime." Guan Yu nodded.
The Green Dragon Crescent Blade fell. Its edge flashed, and Otsutsuki Ming was split cleanly in two. He didn't even have time to scream.
The Ōtsutsuki God went rigid. Standing in the void, he watched his Eternal War Generals fall two at a time, bewilderment filling his enormous golden eyes.
"What kind of ability is that... What the hell kind of ability is that..."
The six remaining Eternal War Generals stared at Demon Lü Bu and Saint Guan Yu. Not one of them dared move.
Demon Lü Bu was still kneeling, looking up at them with an eagerness that made their skin crawl.
Saint Guan Yu held the Green Dragon Crescent Blade and stroked his beard, his gaze sweeping slowly across their faces.
"Would anyone else care to answer my question?" Guan Yu asked.
No one spoke.
"Do you dare not answer?" Guan Yu asked
