Mo Yi let go of his hand and turned to look at the meteor rapidly approaching them. With a helpless smile, he said, "I was planning to introduce St. Freya Academy to you, but that will have to wait. We have a guest arriving."

As the chief scientist of a Schicksal research project, Doctor Maki recognized the newcomer as Schicksal's strongest Valkyrie, Durandal, in an instant. His entire mood immediately turned awful!

He had considered that Schicksal might care about him—or rather, care about the Serenity Gem—but he had never expected them to immediately deploy their strongest visible trump card, Durandal, so quickly. It felt as absurd as launching a Honkai Energy Fission Bomb to deal with some traitor. This was supposed to be the big-name entrance, something that usually appeared at the very beginning.
