Harley Quinn understood instantly. She gave an excited cheer and flung her backpack to the ground.
She unzipped it, revealing nothing but high-precision camera gear: a stabilizing mount and even a miniature fill light.
She expertly set up the tripod, adjusted the aperture and focus, then clipped a microphone to Homelander's collar.
Homelander stepped into his marked position.
"Lighting's perfect! Angle's perfect!" Harley flashed an OK sign. "Mr. Milk Candy, you look so hot right now I can barely keep my legs together!"
"Hey, cyborg! Come help!" Once the camera was set, she waved Steel Bone over. "Get this thing broadcasting worldwide! Hurry!"
Steel Bone froze, caught off guard by the sudden production. "Now? You're livestreaming at a time like this?"
"That's his style." Bruce Wayne passed Steel Bone and spoke quietly. "Do it, Victor."
Victor sighed helplessly. He stepped forward, extended a data cable from his right arm, and connected to Harley's broadcasting equipment.
"I've connected to every screen that still lights up and every speaker that still works, worldwide." A red light flashed in Steel Bone's cybernetic eye. "Homelander, you can address the whole world whenever you're ready. Whether they're in underground shelters or tucked into the ruins, they'll hear you."
"Thanks, Victor. You thought of everything." Homelander gave Steel Bone an appreciative nod.
Watching how comfortably Homelander took to the setup, and the urge to perform practically spilling off his face, everyone caught on.
"I get it now." Deathstroke gave a derisive snort. "That's quite the production. If he wasn't a Hollywood star before, he must've been an influencer."
"But I kind of like it," Barry said softly, watching Homelander ask Harley to adjust the fill light.
"Honestly, seeing him like this puts me at ease... I'd even send him a Royal Horn."
