"Tell me."
"The Divine Power Osmotic Pressure Effect," Super-Ego said, using a technical term.
"While he's still dormant before the Emergence, I can separate my main body from Apokolips and leave it here."
"Immersed alongside this golden Celestial."
"Immersed?" Homelander raised an eyebrow. "You make it sound like you're steeping in medicinal liquor."
"You could think of it that way, Master."
Super-Ego explained.

Homelander's eyes lit up when he heard the plan.
It amounted to making Tiamut expend his own strength fattening up Ego, then handing himself over for Ego to take possession of him.
It was a win-win. They could keep Earth from exploding and get a complete Celestial body for free.
"But..."
Homelander's tone shifted as he stared at Super-Ego.
"Don't sell me a fantasy. There's no such thing as a free lunch. This plan has a cost, doesn't it?"
Super-Ego lowered his head in admiration.
"Nothing escapes your wisdom, Master."
"There is one critical condition for this plan to work."
Super-Ego pointed upward.
"Arishem."
