"You..." Hank Pym's face reddened at the remark. He opened his mouth, but for a long moment, he couldn't force out a word.
Darren Cross's betrayal was the greatest humiliation and failure of his life, and a responsibility he could not shirk.
Hope saw the tension rising. If the argument continued, today's meeting would fall apart.
"Enough! Both of you, stop!" she shouted, cutting them off.
Hope first looked gently at Homelander in her palm, a silent plea in her eyes. Then she turned a stony face toward her father.
"Father, we can discuss working together later."
"But right now, we have an urgent crisis." She turned to Homelander, her voice tense.
Hope told him exactly what had happened in her father's basement the night before, including the mysterious gunmen and the Ant-Man Suit they had stolen.
"Darren has the original suit as a prototype now. His plan to mass-produce the Wasp Suit will move forward much faster." Hope clenched her fist. "Once that happens, this power will be completely out of control. No army can defend against a group of killers no bigger than insects who can still deal lethal damage."
"Daniel, I'm asking for your help. It's urgent." Hope's beautiful eyes held both hope and helplessness.
"I need to use the Starr Group's laboratory and advanced materials. My father has to build an entirely new Ant-Man Suit as quickly as possible. Only then can I infiltrate Darren's headquarters and destroy all his research data."
Faced with Hope's pleading gaze, Homelander immediately put on a look of deep affection.
"Hope... you know that."
"You don't have to ask me."
He was too small for Hope to make out his expression, but his words and tone conveyed what he wanted her to feel.
"If you need it and I have
