Ashley turned sideways and stepped back half a pace, yielding the podium.
"Now, please welcome our principal, the God of Humanity—Homelander!"
Rousing background music thundered through the hall, the subwoofers making the floor tremble faintly.
Homelander strode forward with imposing steps and climbed onto the center of the stage beneath the spotlights.
He flashed the cameras his signature smile.
"Waaah—"
An uncontrollable wave of exclamations erupted from below the stage, and several reporters even jumped up in excitement.
The flashes reached their peak at that moment, while reporters in the front row desperately thrust their microphones forward.
Homelander raised both hands and pressed them downward.
The music and camera shutters gradually fell silent.
"Thank you, thank you, everyone." Homelander smiled faintly as he began.
"Today, I stand here for every citizen of the Galactic Human Federation."
"To give every one of you a fair chance to achieve your dreams!"
"Vought Pioneer Hero Academy is now officially accepting applications from across the entire Federation!"
"Whether you have already awakened superpowers or are an ordinary person who believes you have potential, you may apply!"
"Of course, applicants under eighteen must have their registration confirmed by their legal guardians."
A reporter shouted, "Mr. Homelander, I have a question. Ordinary people can apply just because they think they have potential? Do they not need superpowers?"
"Good question." Homelander gave a mysterious wink. "I must announce an exciting piece of news to the whole world. Vought Group has mastered technology capable of safely activating humanity's latent superpowers!"
He looked confidently into the cameras. "As long as you pass Vought's entrance test and are admitted to the academy, you can become a proud member of V Vanguard! A future superhero!!"
The entire hall erupted once more the moment he said that!
Ordinary people could become superheroes
