The awakening of Vought's trainees was still underway. At the current pace, it was expected to take three to four days for everyone to complete their awakenings.
After finishing his speech, Homelander left amid deafening cheers.
He did not linger, returning directly to V.G.D. headquarters and summoning the Eternals.
"All right, everyone," Homelander said without preamble. "Tell me, what are your plans?"
The Eternals exchanged glances before unanimously turning their eyes toward Ajak.
Ajak met Homelander's gaze.
"Arishem has already noticed the anomaly with the Emergence. His arrival on Earth is inevitable."
"When?" Homelander asked.
"I don't know." Ajak shook her head. "Crossing the stars is merely instinct to Arishem. He could appear outside Earth's atmosphere the next second. We must be prepared for his arrival at any time."
"So, what is your plan?"
"We need your help, Homelander," Ajak said solemnly. "Arishem's power is not something we can confront head-on. Our only hope is the Infinity Stones."
"We need you to help us find the Infinity Stones hidden on Earth."
Phastos took over. "Once we obtain the Infinity Stones, I can create a special device. I call it the Uni-Mind."
"This device can link the minds and cosmic energy of us Eternals together. Then, we can join forces to wield the power of the Infinity Stones. We may have a chance to stop Arishem and force him back."
Homelander patiently listened to their plan.
The room fell silent for several seconds.
Then—
"Pfft—"
Homelander could not hold it in and laughed.
His laughter grew louder and louder, eventually becoming unrestrained, booming laughter.
"Ha ha ha ha..."
The Eternals' faces darkened.
"What are you laughing at?" Phastos frowned, his tone clearly displeased.
"I'm laughing at your wild fantasies and your overestimation of yourselves." Homelander slightly reined in his smile. "Uni-Mind?
