Skye walked into Homelander's office.
She wore a hoodie and carried the battered backpack she never left behind. She still looked like a wandering hacker who lived out of a van, completely out of place here.
But her eyes revealed deep exhaustion and anxiety.
"What's wrong, our genius hacker?"
Wu Yanzu rose to his feet, putting on the air of a caring older brother as he walked over to the bar. "Want a drink? I've got some excellent bourbon."
"No."
Skye tossed her backpack onto the couch, her voice hoarse. "I... I've hit a wall."
"Oh?" Homelander leaned against the edge of the desk with a glass in hand. "There's a wall in this world that can stop Rising Tide?"
Skye bit her lip, her eyes full of unwillingness. "I found it... I found clues about my parents. A file from 1989, codenamed Code 084."
"But the rest of the information is in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s core database. It's physically isolated... I can't get in."
Skye raised her head, tears shimmering in her large eyes as she looked directly at Wu Yanzu.
"Anthony... you said you were after the truth. You said you'd help me."
"I want to know who I am. I want to know whether my parents... whether they really abandoned me."
Wu Yanzu looked at her quietly.
Of course he knew who she was.

Come to think of it, the Kree had really gone to great lengths for Earth.
The Obelisk, the Terrigen Crystal, the Kree temple.
They had created all sorts of superpowered people, including Captain Marvel.
Wu Yanzu was also extremely interested in the Terrigen Crystal.
