"Strange." Homelander's expression turned solemn, like an elder entrusting him with a grave responsibility. "America is a poor girl. She has no one to rely on in this world, and she's suffered more than anyone her age should. You must take good care of her. Understood?"

"Come with me, child." Strange did his best to give America a kindly smile.

America looked back at Homelander. He silently mouthed a few words of encouragement.

She smiled sweetly and nodded.

Then she waved goodbye to Homelander, Natasha, and Skye before following Strange through the portal.
