"They say this Second Young Master is arrogant and unruly, and has never gotten along with the old palace master. He left the Southern Immortal Palace long ago with a group of trusted followers to establish his own faction."
But however poorly they got along, they were still bound by blood.
In southern Cloud Dream, what faction would dare deny this Second Young Master a little respect?
Looking at the white-robed figure before her, Lin Feiyan ventured cautiously, "Honored guest elder, since it's the Second Young Master... perhaps we should stay out of these muddy waters?"
"If we really uncover his schemes and make an enemy of him, even if we flee back to the Jieqing Sect..."
Although she had used gaining experience away from the sect as an excuse to come slay a few demons in the Cloud-Dream Realm, she knew full well how tangled the situation in southern Cloud Dream was.
Killing a few ordinary rogue cultivator demons would be one thing.
But if a moment of hotheadedness led her to needlessly saddle the sect with a colossal enemy like the Southern Immortal Palace...
