Ch. 381Wu Shisan

Jiang Yuechu revealed that she had reached the Tower-Climbing Realm, then urged the emperor and the Li Clan’s High Ancestor to evacuate before Five Immortals Mountain returned. They refused to abandon the Great Tang, and the chapter ended with the mysterious Wu Shisan and his young disciple appearing on the city wall.

  • Zhao Zhongliu dropped his iron mace when Jiang Yuechu’s Tower-Climbing Realm cultivation became clear, and the emperor celebrated her breakthrough.
  • Jiang Yuechu warned that the five immortals might return and urged the emperor and the Li Clan’s High Ancestor to lead the survivors away.
  • The emperor and the Li Clan’s High Ancestor refused to flee, choosing to remain with the Great Tang and its people.
  • Jiang Yuechu and the Li Clan’s High Ancestor noticed an old Daoist and a child beside the wall, though neither had sensed their arrival.
  • The old Daoist introduced himself as Wu Shisan and revealed that he had left the land thousands of years earlier, embarrassing the Li Clan’s High Ancestor after his attempted flattery.

Ch. 382What Decent Person Goes to a Brothel?

Jiang Yuechu left Chang'an after entrusting its protection to an enigmatic old Daoist, who claimed to belong to the Taibai Tai'a Lineage. The Daoist frightened the city’s defenders by pretending he would attack, then set off to visit the brothels with his young disciple.

  • The old Daoist told Jiang Yuechu he had returned to his homeland and offered to watch over Chang'an while she went back to her distant body.
  • Jiang Yuechu reluctantly accepted his offer and flew north, leaving the Li Clan's High Ancestor and the others on the city wall.
  • After Jiang Yuechu departed, the old Daoist pretended he had been waiting for her to leave so he could strike at Chang'an, alarming everyone.
  • The old Daoist revealed he had only been teasing and walked away with the boy, saying they should visit the brothels.
  • The Li Clan's High Ancestor told Zhao Zhongliu not to follow the Daoist and to let him do as he pleased as long as Chang'an remained intact.

Ch. 383The True Body Returns

Jiang Yuechu returned to her body in the northern lands and brought the Red Sun Demon Venerable to Chang'an. There, he discovered she was human and met the emperor, who welcomed her back.

  • The Red Sun Demon Venerable considered attacking Jiang Yuechu while her primordial spirit was away, but stopped himself and guarded her body instead.
  • Jiang Yuechu's primordial spirit returned, and she struck the Red Sun Demon Venerable before carrying him through the snow toward Chang'an.
  • The next morning, Jiang Yuechu met the Li Clan's High Ancestor at the city gates and entered the Imperial City with the Red Sun Demon Venerable.
  • The emperor welcomed Gu Yue back and asked about her companion, so Jiang Yuechu called the Red Sun Demon Venerable an old dog she had picked up.
  • The Red Sun Demon Venerable realized Jiang Yuechu was human and kowtowed to the emperor as Chiyang.

Ch. 384Wu Shisan's True Purpose

Chapter Summary: “Wu Shisan’s True Purpose”

Key Plot Points and Events

  • After returning to Chang’an, Jiang Yuechu asks about the mysterious old Daoist who had agreed to guard the city in her absence.
  • She learns that Wu Shisan has taken his young disciple to Pingkang Ward, specifically the Drunken Immortal Tower, claiming to be “tempering his heart amid the mortal world.”
  • Jiang visits him and finds Wu Shisan in a private room with a courtesan. He has apparently spent the previous night there but is refusing to pay, attempting instead to lecture the woman on Buddhist- and Daoist-like philosophies about letting go of worldly attachments.
  • The courtesan exposes his hypocrisy, grabbing him by the collar and demanding payment. Jiang intervenes, pays her generously, and dismisses her from the room.
  • After the woman leaves, Jiang thanks Wu Shisan for protecting Chang’an but questions whether his stated reason for remaining in the city is genuine.
  • Wu Shisan admits that Jiang is too perceptive to deceive. He reveals that he comes from the Tai’a Lineage of Mysterious Truth Grotto-Heaven and explains that his presence in Chang’an is connected to a dangerous conflict within the orthodox Daoist lineages.
  • He says the Tai’a Lineage recently clashed with the hostile Sangshu Lineage. Wu Shisan killed eight True Persons of Sangshu during the confrontation, provoking the possibility of retaliation.
  • The chapter ends as Wu Shisan explains that the Sangshu Lineage prefers indirect and underhanded methods. Because his origins are known, they may trace him to Chang’an and bring danger there.

Character Developments

  • Jiang Yuechu is shown to be composed, perceptive, and increasingly powerful. Having reached the Tower-Climbing Realm, she is now capable of demanding the truth from Wu Shisan rather than accepting his evasions.
  • Wu Shisan is presented comically as shameless and hypocritical, but the chapter reveals a more serious and dangerous side. His carefree behavior hides considerable strength, a violent past conflict, and concern that his enemies may pursue him.
  • Wu Shisan’s young disciple remains embarrassed and uncomfortable with his master’s behavior, especially during the scene at the pleasure house. His reaction also hints that he knows the true severity of the conflict Wu Shisan describes.
  • The courtesan serves as a humorous counterweight to Wu Shisan’s lofty preaching. She immediately exposes the gap between his supposed spiritual wisdom and his unwillingness to pay his bill.
  • The emperor and Li Clan Ancestor appear cautious toward Wu Shisan, respecting the protection he offers while quietly monitoring him because his background remains uncertain.

Significant Themes

  • Appearance versus reality: Wu Shisan presents himself as a carefree, worldly Daoist, but his true purpose and history are much more serious.
  • Hypocrisy and worldly attachment: His sermon about abandoning desire is comically undermined by his attempt to avoid paying for his own indulgence.
  • Trust and suspicion: Jiang appreciates Wu Shisan’s aid but refuses to accept his explanation without scrutiny, emphasizing that goodwill does not eliminate the need for caution.
  • Factional conflict and hidden danger: The orthodox lineages are not united; rivalries can lead to bloodshed, revenge, and threats extending into the mortal world.
  • Power and responsibility: Wu Shisan’s strength allowed him to kill eight powerful opponents, but that same strength has created consequences for himself and potentially for Chang’an.

Character Interactions

  • The emperor and Li Clan Ancestor discuss Wu Shisan’s unusual behavior while maintaining discreet surveillance of him.
  • Wu Shisan attempts to manipulate the courtesan through spiritual rhetoric, but she forcefully rejects his preaching and demands payment.
  • Jiang Yuechu handles the dispute calmly, pays the courtesan, and asserts her authority.
  • Jiang and Wu Shisan then shift from comic confrontation to a serious conversation about his origins, motives, and enemies.
  • Their exchange establishes mutual recognition: Wu Shisan acknowledges Jiang’s intelligence and growing power, while Jiang makes clear that she will not tolerate being misled.

Ch. 385A Way to Break the Deadlock

Jiang Yuechu weighed the Great Tang’s danger and decided to take the fight to its enemies, but Wu Shisan urged her to stop charging blindly and taught her about cultivation in the Tower-Climbing Realm. The chapter ended with Jiang Yuechu asking him to explain how primordial spirits were tempered.

  • Jiang Yuechu concluded that the Great Tang could not grow strong enough quickly enough to withstand its enemies, so she resolved to slaughter those who threatened it.
  • Jiang Yuechu asked Wu Shisan to watch over Chang'an while she left to take the initiative against the remaining threats.
  • Wu Shisan criticized Jiang Yuechu for rushing into battle without understanding her new realm and warned that her untempered primordial spirit left her vulnerable.
  • Jiang Yuechu asked Wu Shisan to teach her, and he explained how the Tower-Climbing Realm focused on the primordial spirit while building on a cultivator’s previous path.
  • Jiang Yuechu asked Wu Shisan what he meant by tempering the primordial spirit.

Ch. 386He Could Be Your Grandfather

Chapter Summary: “He Could Be Your Grandfather”

Key Plot Points and Events

  • Wu Shisan explains that the Tower-Climbing Realm differs from lower realms because cultivators can temper their Primordial Spirits by fusing them with rare spiritual materials.
  • The Primordial Spirit has limitless potential compared with the physical body, allowing external forces—such as extreme yang flames or yin ice—to become part of a cultivator’s power.
  • Jiang Yuechu realizes that her Flesh-and-Bone Furnace talent may allow her body to undergo a similar process, absorbing treasures and artifacts to strengthen her flesh and bones.
  • Recalling her recent battle with the Five Immortals, Jiang recognizes that although her Primordial Spirit is exceptionally powerful, it lacks refinement and flexibility. She accepts Wu Shisan’s advice to seek out rare treasures before confronting Five Immortals Mountain again.
  • Wu Shisan gives her several notebooks containing maps, local information, and records of unusual spiritual auras, providing her with valuable guidance for finding suitable materials.
  • He then asks Jiang to take his disciple along on her journey so the boy can gain experience and stop acting arrogantly.
  • The disciple initially presents himself as a harmless child, but Wu Shisan reveals that his Primordial Spirit fused with a special object, causing him to rejuvenate physically. Despite his appearance, he is old enough to be Jiang’s grandfather.
  • The child identifies himself as Wang Ziyu, a successor of the Tai’a lineage and a Second-Tier Tower-Climbing Realm cultivator—stronger than Jiang.
  • Jiang agrees to take him with her and immediately prepares to leave.

Character Developments

  • Jiang Yuechu becomes more aware of the nature and limitations of her new realm. She recognizes the need to develop her Primordial Spirit rather than relying solely on its naturally high attributes.
  • Her discovery that the Flesh-and-Bone Furnace may provide a parallel method of body tempering expands her understanding of her own unusual abilities.
  • Jiang also demonstrates practical judgment: although she is wary of bringing a supposed child on a dangerous journey, she accepts once she learns Wang Ziyu’s true strength.
  • Wu Shisan shifts from his usual lazy, teasing manner into a serious mentor figure. He offers Jiang meaningful instruction, resources, and indirect protection while remaining mindful of the Tai’a lineage’s restrictions.
  • Wang Ziyu is established as a powerful but immature character. He dislikes having his age and secrets exposed, and his attempt to appear harmless suggests vanity and a mischievous desire to exploit his youthful appearance.

Significant Themes

  • Growth through external resources: Advancement in the Tower-Climbing Realm requires absorbing and refining treasures from the outside world rather than relying only on innate strength.
  • Potential versus refinement: Jiang possesses an excellent foundation, but raw power alone is insufficient; her abilities must be properly tempered to handle stronger Primordial Spirit battles.
  • Appearance versus reality: Wang Ziyu looks like a child but is actually an ancient and powerful cultivator, emphasizing that age and appearance cannot be trusted.
  • Mentorship and preparation: Wu Shisan’s guidance shows that experience, knowledge, and preparation are essential for surviving future conflicts.
  • Humility through experience: Wang Ziyu’s journey with Jiang is intended to expose him to greater dangers and stronger people, correcting his sheltered and arrogant worldview.

Character Interactions

  • Wu Shisan teaches Jiang about Primordial Spirit tempering, and she respectfully accepts his advice.
  • Jiang receives his notebooks with gratitude, recognizing their practical value.
  • Wu Shisan asks Jiang to accompany Wang Ziyu, while jokingly exposing the boy’s true age and motives.
  • Wang Ziyu tries to maintain dignity and impress Jiang, but his master repeatedly undermines his attempt to appear mature or harmless.
  • Jiang and Wang’s partnership is established at the end of the chapter, with Jiang agreeing to lead him on her search for tempering materials.

Ch. 387I Want to Kiss Your Lips

Jiang Yuechu traveled west with Wang Ziyu and the Red Sun Demon Venerable to find the Twelve-Colored Rosy Cloud Silver, a treasure suited to tempering her Primordial Spirit. After learning that a powerful cultivator had already claimed it, she continued onward, determined to take it.

  • Jiang Yuechu left Chang'an carrying the Red Sun Demon Venerable and traveling with Wang Ziyu.
  • Wang Ziyu asked whether he could marry Jiang Yuechu, then admitted that he wanted to kiss her lips; she dismissed his confession without anger.
  • Wang Ziyu recognized that Jiang Yuechu was heading west to seek the Twelve-Colored Rosy Cloud Silver and explained its properties and value to her cultivation.
  • Wang Ziyu warned that someone at least in the Tower-Climbing Realm had already claimed the treasure, but Jiang Yuechu continued toward it, saying it deserved a better owner.

Ch. 388Rules

Chapter Summary: Five Immortals Mountain

Key Plot Points and Events

  • The five True Persons of Five Immortals Mountain return in defeat from Chang’an as battered, illusory Primordial Spirits after their physical bodies were destroyed.
  • Red Toad True Person furiously vows revenge, while Yellow Centipede True Person silently assesses the situation. He is especially resentful that the others abandoned him during the battle and only became bold again after escaping.
  • Yellow Centipede briefly considers devouring the other four Primordial Spirits, but decides they are more useful alive as expendable fighters.
  • He suppresses the group’s panic and orders all disciples from the five lineages to return to the mountain. He declares that, in half a month, they will attack and flatten Chang’an.
  • Elsewhere, Jiang Yuechu travels beyond Great Tang with Wang Ziyu and the old flood dragon to locate the Twelve-Colored Rosy Cloud Silver.
  • After crossing barren wilderness and avoiding dangerous terrain, they arrive at a towering mountain where the treasure is hidden.
  • Before entering, Wang Ziyu warns Jiang Yuechu about the dangers of the outside cultivation world and gives her three rules:
    1. Do not ask about other cultivators’ origins.
    2. Do not reveal her own background, especially her connection to Great Tang.
    3. Avoid fighting when possible, but if combat is unavoidable, eliminate all threats completely.
  • Jiang Yuechu dismisses his lengthy lecture as nagging but continues forward, with Wang Ziyu following closely behind.

Character Developments

  • Yellow Centipede True Person: Reveals himself as calculating and distrustful. Though publicly leading the group toward revenge, he privately views the other True Persons as cowardly “old dogs” and potential cannon fodder. His injuries and humiliation deepen his resentment.
  • The other four True Persons: Their outrage over losing their bodies contrasts with their earlier cowardice. They are portrayed as blustering after the danger has passed.
  • Jiang Yuechu: Remains calm, confident, and impatient with unnecessary advice. Her willingness to proceed despite the danger shows her bold and reckless nature.
  • Wang Ziyu: Acts as an experienced guide and mentor, warning Jiang Yuechu about the rules of the wider cultivation world. Despite his complaints, he remains loyal and follows her.
  • Old flood dragon: Serves as Jiang Yuechu’s carried companion during the journey, visibly suffering from the strong winds.

Significant Themes

  • Cowardice versus courage: The defeated cultivators loudly demand revenge but previously fled when the battle turned against them.
  • The cost of cultivation: The destruction of the True Persons’ innate bodies is treated as a profound personal loss, even though their Primordial Spirits survived.
  • Survival and ruthless pragmatism: Yellow Centipede’s willingness to use or even devour his allies reflects the brutal, competitive nature of the cultivation world.
  • The dangers of the wider world: Wang Ziyu emphasizes secrecy, restraint, and eliminating threats, suggesting that ignorance and carelessness can endanger both individuals and entire nations.
  • Revenge and escalation: Five Immortals Mountain responds to defeat by preparing a larger assault on Chang’an, intensifying the conflict.

Character Interactions

  • The four defeated True Persons loudly complain and demand revenge, while Yellow Centipede silently judges their cowardice.
  • Yellow Centipede assumes authority by ending their argument and issuing orders for a counterattack.
  • Wang Ziyu attempts to educate Jiang Yuechu about worldly dangers, but she responds with indifference and calls him overly talkative.
  • Despite their contrasting personalities—his caution and her impulsiveness—Wang Ziyu continues to accompany and protect her as they approach the treasure site.

Ch. 389Since You Both Want It, Neither of You Gets It

Jiang Yuechu arrived as the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor and the old bull fought over the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver, then claimed the treasure for herself. Her declaration left both demons furious and set the stage for a confrontation.

  • Hong Ling tried to seize the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver from the old bull, who accused him of betraying their trust and threatened to call on the Lord of the Domain.
  • Hong Ling prepared to kill the old bull rather than let anyone learn what happened.
  • Jiang Yuechu descended with the half-dead Old Flood Dragon, while Wang Ziyu accompanied her.
  • Jiang Yuechu asked whether the treasure belonged to the old bull and whether Hong Ling meant to steal it.
  • Jiang Yuechu declared that neither demon would get the treasure because it was hers, and Wang Ziyu silently stepped back.

Ch. 390Battling the Demon Emperor of Spirit Mountain

Jiang Yuechu fought the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor for the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver after Old Ox withdrew. The demon emperor revealed his Fire Star lineage and calamity-ash powers, and the chapter ended as he transformed and poured his demonic power into his sword.

  • Old Ox stepped aside and let Jiang Yuechu contend with the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor for the treasure.
  • Jiang Yuechu attacked without warning, and the demon emperor evaded her strike before countering with scarlet sword qi.
  • Wang Ziyu recognized the demon emperor's calamity ashes as the power of the Mars Annihilation Position lineage and identified him as an heir of the Fire Star lineage.
  • Jiang Yuechu endured the calamity-ash erosion and hacked through the sword qi until she reached the demon emperor.
  • The Crimson Silk Demon Emperor transformed, revealing avian features, crimson feathers, and slit pupils as he channeled demonic power into his sword.

Ch. 391You're Human?!" (Two More Chapters Tonight)

Jiang Yuechu fought the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor after he transformed his sword into a weapon of flesh and became a half-human, half-bird monster. She overwhelmed him with a brutal combination of attacks, leaving him badly wounded and discovering that her fist also carried deadly poison.

  • The Crimson Silk Demon Emperor sacrificed his flesh to transform his sword into a living weapon and turned into a half-human, half-bird monster.
  • Jiang Yuechu charged into the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor’s attack and blocked his flesh sword with her blade.
  • Jiang Yuechu countered with a slash that cut through the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor’s feathers and sent him crashing into the mountainside.
  • Jiang Yuechu struck the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor with a fist combining white qi, black mist, and lightning, destroying half his head and preventing his wound from healing.
  • The Crimson Silk Demon Emperor realized Jiang Yuechu’s fist was also poisoned and wondered if she was human.

Ch. 392Defeat (2-in-1)

Jiang Yuechu used poison, overwhelming physical strength, and her revealed True Dragon form to defeat the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor. As she prepared to kill him, he revealed that Spirit Mountain had already received news of her identity, putting her at risk of a hunt across the Eastern Region.

  • Jiang Yuechu’s poisonous mist stopped the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor’s wounds from healing, and she beat his body into ruin.
  • The Crimson Silk Demon Emperor abandoned his body and attacked Jiang Yuechu with his primordial spirit, but she blocked him with a punch.
  • Jiang Yuechu transformed into a True Dragon and crushed and devoured most of the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor’s primordial spirit.
  • The defeated Crimson Silk Demon Emperor told Jiang Yuechu that he had sent news of her True Dragon aura to Spirit Mountain, and that the Eastern Region would soon learn of her.

Ch. 393Poor Little Ox's Road to Survival

Jiang Yuechu killed the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor, absorbed his primordial spirit, and broke through to the second level of Tower-Climbing. As she approached Niu Ben, he begged for his life and warned that her true dragon form could draw the attention of Spirit Mountain and the entire Eastern Region.

  • Jiang Yuechu crushed the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor's primordial spirit and used Shadow Tracing to obtain the Soul-Worshiping Might-Unleashing Method.
  • Jiang Yuechu found no demon soul, devoured the scattered primordial spirit fragments, and advanced to the second level of Tower-Climbing.
  • Jiang Yuechu returned to human form and walked toward the cave as the Red Sun Demon Venerable and Wang Ziyu watched in shock.
  • Niu Ben knelt before Jiang Yuechu, offered the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver, and begged her to spare him.
  • Niu Ben warned Jiang Yuechu that Spirit Mountain would learn of the Crimson Silk Demon Emperor's death and that her revealed true dragon body could alarm the entire Eastern Region.

Ch. 394Weighing the Pros and Cons

Jiang Yuechu weighed whether to kill Niu Ben after learning that Grotto-Heavens might hunt her for being a True Dragon, and Niu Ben offered to serve as her hostage while the Myriad Demon Marsh provoked Spirit Mountain. As Jiang Yuechu considered his offer, Chiyang rushed to discredit him and urged her to kill him.

  • Niu Ben warned Jiang Yuechu that Spirit Mountain and other Grotto-Heavens might capture her to exploit her True Dragon heritage.
  • Jiang Yuechu prepared to kill Niu Ben, but he offered to send a message to the Myriad Demon Marsh and remain in her service as a hostage.
  • Jiang Yuechu considered using Niu Ben to help distract Spirit Mountain and as a shield against Five Immortals Mountain.
  • Chiyang feared that Niu Ben would replace him as Jiang Yuechu's favored servant, so he accused Niu Ben of being a treacherous threat and urged Jiang Yuechu to kill him.

Ch. 395Eastern Region

Jiang Yuechu claimed the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver and agreed to wait three days for the full moon to bring it to maturity. While Niu Ben and Red Sun Demon Venerable competed to serve her, Wang Ziyu explained the Eastern Region, leaving Jiang Yuechu asking whether the other regions also existed.

  • Jiang Yuechu accepted Niu Ben's terms, and he sent a message before pledging himself as her lackey.
  • Jiang Yuechu entered the cave and found the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver, which Wang Ziyu said was suitable for tempering her Primordial Spirit.
  • Niu Ben explained that the treasure would reach full maturity after three days of full moonlight, and Jiang Yuechu agreed to wait.
  • Niu Ben volunteered to guard the cave, while Jiang Yuechu turned down Red Sun Demon Venerable's offer to help.
  • Wang Ziyu explained that the Eastern Region included the Great Tang, Spirit Mountain, Myriad Demon Marsh, and Mysterious Truth Grotto-Heaven, and Jiang Yuechu asked if other regions existed.

Ch. 396The secrets behind the Great Tang

Jiang Yuechu learned that the Eastern Region was the world's most prosperous realm, but Wang Ziyu refused to explain the secret that had protected the Great Tang. Three days later, she began fusing the heart material with her primordial spirit while Wang Ziyu guarded her vulnerable body.

  • Wang Ziyu told Jiang Yuechu about the Mystic Continent and Daiyu, explaining that cultivators sought the Eastern Region for its abundance.
  • Jiang Yuechu asked how the Great Tang had survived despite its weakness, but Wang Ziyu refused to reveal the secret and told her to ask someone in her Dao Orthodoxy.
  • After three days, Wang Ziyu said the heart material was ready and instructed Jiang Yuechu to fuse it with her primordial spirit.
  • Jiang Yuechu released her gold-blue primordial spirit from her body and reached for the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver.
  • Niu Ben and the Red Sun Demon Venerable tried to approach, but Wang Ziyu stopped them and guarded Jiang Yuechu's body as her primordial spirit seized the silver light.

Ch. 397From This Day Forward, Immortals and Demons Are Forbidden Within Great Tang! (More Tonight)

Jiang Yuechu refined the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver into a Glazed Glass Heart, gaining a malleable primordial spirit and breaking through to the third layer of the Tower-Climbing Realm. She then set out to storm Five Immortals Mountain and enforce her ban on immortals and demons within Great Tang.

  • Jiang Yuechu used a primordial spirit refinement method to absorb the twelve-colored rosy cloud silver and form a Glazed Glass Heart.
  • Jiang Yuechu discovered that her primordial spirit could freely gather and disperse into different forms.

  • The Red Sun Demon Venerable and Niu Ben congratulated Jiang Yuechu, who declared that she was going to storm Five Immortals Mountain.

Ch. 398We Are Immortals

Five Immortals Mountain’s history revealed how five beasts gained power from human worship before abandoning mortals. After the five True Persons were defeated in Chang’an by a Li Clan prodigy, their disciples gathered to prepare an attack on Great Tang.

  • The five beasts awakened through incense-fire power, became True Persons, and eventually closed Five Immortals Mountain’s gates to mortals.
  • Senior Brother Zhao and Junior Brother Liu arrived at the mountain after being summoned back.
  • Senior Brother Zhao told Junior Brother Liu that a Li Clan prodigy had destroyed the bodies of all five True Persons in Chang’an.
  • Senior Brother Zhao said the True Persons had ordered their followers to storm Chang’an, slaughter its people, and annihilate Great Tang.
  • Junior Brother Liu called himself and Senior Brother Zhao immortals rather than humans, and Senior Brother Zhao abandoned his lingering sentiment about his homeland.

Ch. 399Where Did This Demonic Cultivator Come From?

Senior Brother Zhao and Junior Brother Liu witnessed a black-robed girl arrive at Five Immortals Mountain and kill Senior Brother Mo, then declare that she had come to destroy the mountain. With the five True Persons in seclusion and unable to intervene, Senior Brother Mo attacked her with a spear formed from yellow mist.

  • A golden light flew over Five Immortals Mountain, and Senior Brother Zhao and Junior Brother Liu hurried up the mountain to investigate.
  • The girl in black robes hurled Senior Brother Mo into a cliff, then split his body in two with her saber.
  • Senior Brother Mo's Primordial Spirit emerged, and he demanded to know who the girl was and why she had attacked.
  • The girl said she had come to smash Five Immortals Mountain and unleashed black mist filled with demon phantoms.
  • Knowing the five True Persons were in seclusion, Senior Brother Mo formed a spear of yellow mist and charged at the girl.

Ch. 400Battling the Five Immortals Disciples
