Ch. 1061A Private Room in the Profound Prison for One

Jiang Yuechu opened the Profound Prison, killed Ao Shun, and discovered that imprisoning him strengthened her Myriad-Forms Heaven and Earth. Meanwhile, Ao Yu struggled against two white-dragon guards and began planning to flee for help.

  • Ao Shun tried to bargain with Jiang Yuechu and warned that his life token would reveal his killer, but she focused on opening the Profound Prison.
  • Jiang Yuechu saw a vision of colossal warriors slaughtered by the prison’s spectral light as the gates began to open beneath the water.

Ch. 1062Ao Yu

Jiang Yuechu rescued Ao Yu from the Second Crown Prince’s guards and found the prince apparently dying beside Old Toad. When Jiang Yuechu raised her spear to claim his remaining Dao Cultivation, the prince revealed that he had faked his death.

  • Jiang Yuechu used the Extreme Cold ability to kill the two figures attacking Ao Yu, who recognized her as Fellow Daoist Jiang.

Jiang Yuechu rejected Ao Yu’s plan to seek protection from the Buddhist Sect and revealed that she had come to borrow two things from Ao Yu that she would not return. The chapter ended as Ao Yu panicked and tried to stop her from explaining what she wanted.

  • Ao Yu suggested that Jiang Yuechu seek Dragon-Subduing Arhat’s protection to avoid trouble from the West Sea Dragon Palace.
