Wanda stopped halfway through forming a hand seal.
It was as though all the strength in her body had suddenly been drained away.

"Quick, drink a Recovery Potion!"
Quicksilver took out a Green Recovery Potion and poured it down Wanda's throat.
Green light flared. Her flesh had barely begun to heal before a surge of golden energy destroyed it again.
Worse, that golden energy was rapidly extinguishing Wanda's life force.
Seeing this from a distance, Black Widow threw over the Golden Potion in her hand. "Use this."
Quicksilver flickered out of sight, caught the Golden Potion, and fed it to Wanda.
The Golden Potion was more potent, barely buying her a few more seconds.
But under the corrosive force of Gungnir's energy, it soon lost its effect.
Black Widow hurriedly took out every potion she had, keeping Wanda drinking them.
Green, golden, and even purple healing light flashed over Wanda's body from time to time.
In their haste, all they could do was pit the potions' power against the golden energy Gungnir had left behind.
One repaired her body; the other extinguished her life force.
It all came down to which ran out first.
