The Sacred Wedding (Part 2)

"Praise the Main God! Divine Protection upon the wedding!"

Earth-shaking cries echoed through the capital, surging up like a tide, blazing and fierce like wildfire, then circling without end like a hurricane!

The high priest raised the Divine Staff high and stood atop the Great Temple, basking in the fanatical shouts. He looked down and saw hundreds of thousands of his people prostrated on the ground as one, devoutly praying toward the Sky Family above their heads, like a boundless swarm of ants. He lifted his head. The No. 2 hot-air balloon, "Heart of the Gods," was suspended more than two hundred meters up, swaying now and then in the wind, beating like a god's heart.

"A miracle has descended. Spread the Main God's glory!"

The high priest's face was like that of a god, and his heart was full of emotion. With such a divine object, preaching would become much easier in the future.

Afterward, he looked around to either side. All the priest elders had their heads raised, staring at the huge balloon suspended in the Sky Family. Their expressions were shaken, solemn, vacant, or delighted.

The "Heart of the Gods" in the Sky Family was mainly a paper balloon coated with rubber, with a clay brazier at the bottom to heat the air, and a long, thin hemp rope dangling from its tail end.

Chimer, a second-rank Divine Inspiration Priest of the Lake Kingdom, calculated the height, then fixed the hemp rope to the top of the Great Temple, carefully guiding and securing the paper balloon. Meanwhile, a large group of the kingdom's artisan priests busied themselves in orderly fashion. Some measured the wind speed, some observed the flames, and some held the ropes, ready at every moment.

"Divine Inspiration Priest. Divine inspiration unlike anything before!"
