Outside the city wall, which was covered with corpses, the first group of Royal Warriors heard the drumbeat, loosed their last Feathered Arrows, and shot down the Militia on the battlements. After several quarters of slaughter, they had emptied two bags of Feathered Arrows, and their strength was drained for the moment. Now, carrying the dozens of fallen archer-warrior bodies with them, they withdrew from beneath the wall in good order.
