The sun slanted west, and the battlefield had been cleared. Gorgeous red clouds reflected across the sky, while pale-red waves of blood drifted along the coast. The kingdom's fleet came in and anchored by the shore, and large groups of armored kingdom warriors went ashore, pouring into the Red Soil Tribe's village. The tribespeople in the village cheered to welcome them, joy lighting every face. The two Taino chiefs also returned with the Main God's emblem clear upon their foreheads. Their expressions were somewhat gloomy, but they forced smiles and said nothing more.
That night, the Red Soil Tribe's feast was grand and warm, without the slightest mishap. The kingdom warriors and Taino villagers sang and danced, and after eating and drinking their fill, many women who admired brave warriors even threw themselves willingly into their arms.
Priest Tomatl was all smiles as he pulled the two wooden-faced chiefs along and solemnly announced to the tribespeople!
"The Main God has sent down Divine Force, allowing us to triumph in battle against the Ciguayos! And both honored chiefs have already converted to the Main God and entered the Main God's embrace! From this day forth, the mighty and powerful Main God shall be their supreme and only faith, protecting the entire tribe from the harassment of Ciguayo raiders!"
Hearing this, the kingdom warriors and sailors were the first to cheer and celebrate. The ordinary tribespeople were somewhat surprised, but they soon began celebrating too. Only the tribe's elders and headmen looked puzzled and came forward one after another to ask questions.
The two Taino chiefs looked downcast, but still nodded in acknowledgment.
"To repay the grace of our rescue, we have sworn an oath of the soul to worship the Main God of the Longship Tribe. The Longship Tribe has promised
