Ability Users Reappear! (First Update)

Bang bang bang bang!

Igaram kept firing at Zero, but Zero casually used Startled Dragon to block every bullet.

Seeing how relaxed Zero was, Igaram hurriedly called out to his companion.

"MISS. Monday, move!"

"Executioner, feel the power of a woman!"

MISS. Monday shouted as she lunged at Zero and wrapped him in a bear hug, slamming him heavily into the ground. The ground instantly shattered beneath her immense strength, cracks spreading out like a spiderweb.

She had just been about to mock Zero when a strong, powerful hand suddenly emerged from the rising dust and tightly gripped her neck!

It was the Executioner!

"Save..."

Before MISS. Monday could even finish crying out for help, an even more terrifying force erupted from those hands, instantly choking her. Her arms fell limply to her sides.

"MISS. Monday!"

Igaram was grief-stricken. He had never expected his partner to be defeated so quickly!

Zero tossed the unconscious MISS. Monday aside and continued toward Igaram.

"You bastard, I'll blast a hole right through you!"

Igaram shouted, and six machine guns suddenly extended from his hair, their muzzles aimed at Zero as he approached. But Zero abruptly vanished. When he appeared again, he was already behind Igaram!

Blood suddenly seeped from Igaram's chest, and a trickle of blood ran from the corner of his mouth. With a thud, he fell stiffly to the ground and instantly lost consciousness.

Zero sheathed Startled Dragon, glanced at MISS. Monday and Igaram lying on the ground, then headed toward another battlefield without lingering.

When he arrived, Roronoa Zoro had just finished his own fight.

A moment ago, Zoro had held the upper hand. Then Vivi carried the sleeping Luffy out of the house and used him as a hostage to threaten Zoro. However, Zoro found an opening when MR. 9 attacked him with chains, swinging MR. 9 around and smashing him into Vivi, thus ending the battle.

"What happened?"

Zero and Zoro watched their captain, Luffy, wake up, ask a question, and then immediately go back to sleep. Both of them were rather helpless.

Just as Zoro thought everything was over, two new faces appeared before the four people who had already fallen. According to Vivi, they were also members of Baroque Works, codenamed MR. 5 and MISS. Valentine.

Within Baroque Works, MR. 0 was the boss behind the scenes. The closer one's number was to 0, the stronger they were, so these two were clearly among the upper ranks!

They directly stated their purpose: they had come to kill Igaram and Vivi. It turned out that the two of them were undercover agents. From the way the awakened Igaram addressed Vivi, it seemed that she possessed an extremely noble status.

Igaram told Vivi to leave, saying he would hold off MR. 5 and MISS. Valentine by himself. MR. 5 merely picked his nose, then flicked a booger at Igaram.

Beside them, Zero noticed the disbelief in Zoro's eyes and pointed at the two of them. "Both of them ate Devil Fruits. They're ability users. That man in sunglasses probably ate the Bomb-Bomb Fruit, while the one floating in the air probably ate the Float-Float Fruit."

"So that's how it is. As expected of the Grand Line! We've only been sailing for such a short time, yet we've already encountered two of them. It really is..."

Zoro sighed, then continued watching the developments on the battlefield with Zero.

After seriously injuring Igaram, MR. 5's expression did not change at all, as though he had merely done something insignificant.

"Igaram!"

"With us here, don't even think about leaving!"

Faced with Vivi's panicked appearance, MISS. Valentine laughed freely as she floated in midair and approached Vivi alongside MR. 5.

At that moment, a system notification suddenly rang out in Zero's mind:

"Ding! Side quest activated: Defeat Baroque Works' MR. 5 and MISS. Valentine. Reward upon success: 750 experience points, item lottery ticket*1."

A quest had finally come!

Through these side quests, Zero had vaguely figured out some of the rules for triggering them. For example, a quest's difficulty was most likely tied to his own strength. If the opponent was too weak, they might not meet the conditions to trigger a quest. Igaram and MISS. Monday had been like that.

But this side quest also made Zero understand that he was definitely getting involved in today's matter!

Just as Vivi was about to be attacked from both sides, a man suddenly appeared and stood in front of her.

Only then did the two notice that there were other people nearby. When they clearly saw Zero's appearance, surprise appeared on both their faces as they exclaimed together, "Executioner Zero! A pirate with a 50 million bounty—it's you!"

Zoro suddenly spoke up. After all, these two were Devil Fruit ability users, not simple small fry like before.

"No need. I can handle these two myself. Just watch from the side!"

"You bastard, do you really think you can do whatever you want with us?"

MISS. Valentine was somewhat angry. Zero's indifferent words made her feel thoroughly ignored. Just as she was about to rise into the air and crush this boastful man, MR. 5 suddenly told her to calm down.

Zero's voice rang out as well. "By the way, did I say you could leave?"

At that moment, Startled Dragon's tip pointed at the two of them. A cold, sharp glint flashed over the blade, as if it might turn into a terrifying beast and attack them at any moment.

Seeing this, the two had no choice but to stop pursuing Vivi and prepare to deal with the man before them first!

Elsewhere, Luffy had just finished using the bathroom when he saw the island's residents lying on the ground with their eyes rolled back. Thinking it over, the only person he could remember being capable of doing this seemed to be his crewmate—Zero!

Luffy's expression immediately turned angry.

"Zero, where are you?"

He did not know why Zero would do such a thing to the islanders who had fed and entertained them. All he could do was shout Zero's name as he ran wildly through the town...
