Ye Yuan had his own purpose in doing this.
He wanted to find out what that glowing object he had seen earlier was, in the spot where the sea turtle had been resting.
And so, man and turtle began a chase beneath the sea.
Ye Yuan did not go all out with his speed.
He was afraid that one careless burst would make the turtle lose sight of its target.
Then it would return to its original spot.
Wouldn't everything he had done have been for nothing?
So, with Ye Yuan deliberately holding back, the man and turtle maintained a certain distance from each other.
Ye Yuan was having a great time, but the sea turtle was utterly depressed.
That two-legged creature was clearly not far away.
Yet no matter how hard it tried, it could not catch up.
After several failed attempts to accelerate,
the Giant Sea Turtle suddenly turned and swam in another direction.
As for Ye Yuan, it could not even be bothered to look at him anymore.
He did not know whether all sea turtles were this laid-back,
or whether only this Giant Sea Turtle was like that.
Hovering in the seawater, Ye Yuan watched the departing turtle and did not know what to say.
The good news, however, was that the Giant Sea Turtle had left in a different direction from where it had originally been.
That way, Ye Yuan could return to the original location.
He could take a closer look at what that glowing object had been.
Ye Yuan quickly arrived at the spot where the sea turtle had been.
The water here was still murky.
However, that did not hinder his perception from searching.
His perception swept across the seafloor inch by inch.
