Ye Yuan shook his head and got to his feet, heading out of the tent.
"Where are you going?"
The young man followed behind Ye Yuan, just as he had said—never leaving Ye Yuan's side for even a step.
"I'm going to the bathroom. Are you following me there too?"
Ye Yuan was rendered speechless by Xu Hang's ridiculous move.
It was one thing not to let him go down there, but they had even specifically assigned someone to watch him. That was really going too far, wasn't it?
"We're both men. What's wrong with going together?"
The young man spoke with complete confidence, not seeing anything inappropriate about his behavior.
"Fine. Follow me if you want."
Ye Yuan had no way of dealing with this stubborn fool.
He could not exactly lay a hand on him.
Ye Yuan casually stopped in a temporarily cleared patch of open ground.
Looking toward the tent in the distance, where the team members wore grave expressions as they focused intently on instruments he did not recognize, he asked:
"What are they doing?"
Ye Yuan had no idea what the monitors in front of those people were for.
Since he was bored anyway, he might as well make some conversation.
The young man had not intended to pay any attention to Ye Yuan, this troublesome guy.
But then he remembered what the captain had told him earlier.
"As long as this guy doesn't wander off, you can tell him anything that isn't too important."
Thinking of that, the young man reluctantly replied:
"The brothers who went down all have life monitors on them.
"If they die down there, the red dots showing their vital signs will disappear from the instruments.
"That makes it easier for us to understand what's happening below from the surface."
