Uchiha Madara rapidly formed hand seals, so fast they dazzled the eye. His fingers danced like afterimages, completing five seals in the blink of an eye: Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger!
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
With his deep, forceful shout, a massive fireball suddenly burst from his mouth. Like a ferocious beast, it charged toward Shadow with boundless might and scorching heat.
The blazing flames instantly illuminated the entire training ground, bathing everything around them in an orange-red glow. The fireball was dozens of meters across, like a blazing sun hanging high in the sky. Its searing heat made it feel as though they were standing inside a furnace. The heat waves warped the air, and the grass on the ground quickly withered beneath the intense temperature.
Madara stood silently where he was, his gaze cold as he looked ahead.
"Kid, are you ready to face the challenge?" Madara asked.
He had absolute confidence in his ninjutsu. Even a genius like Shadow would surely struggle against such a powerful attack, as insignificant as an ant before Mount Tai.
Yet there was also a trace of curiosity in his eyes. He wanted to know how Shadow would respond to such powerful ninjutsu.
Shadow stared intently at the enormous fireball, fighting spirit surging within him like an erupting volcano.
"Clan Head, I won't back down," Shadow replied loudly.
He knew the gap between himself and Madara was as vast as a chasm, but he did not fear the challenge. On the contrary, that pressure stirred the potential buried deep inside him, like a suppressed seed blooming brilliantly in adversity.
Madara said, "Chakra is an energy produced when the human body perfectly fuses its various forms of energy. It is an even mixture of spiritual energy and physical energy. Spiritual energy refers to a person's will, willpower, and mental focus, while physical energy includes muscular strength, energy generated through bodily metabolism, and so on. Chakra is not only the source of power for ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu; it can also be formed into threads to bind opponents or cut through substances made of chakra."
"Then how can I control chakra better?" Shadow asked curiously.
"If you can use chakra skillfully, it will be like this seal... Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!!!" Madara unleashed the ninjutsu once more.
Whoosh...!!! The blazing light once again illuminated half the training ground!!!
Shadow focused completely, drawing on the chakra within his body. He tried to imitate Madara's gestures and form the same seals. However, lacking experience, his movements were stiff and uncoordinated.
"Am I doing it wrong?" Shadow asked dejectedly.
Even so, Shadow did not give up. He concentrated, sensing the flow of energy around him as he worked to merge the strength of his mind and body.
As time passed, Shadow gradually grasped a few tricks. He found that he could move chakra more smoothly and put more strength and technique into his hand seals. Though there was still a vast gap between him and Madara, he had already made obvious progress.
"I think I understand a little now," Shadow said excitedly.
Shadow began trying different seals, exploring how to better control the release of chakra. He practiced without pause, and every attempt deepened his understanding of ninjutsu.
Through the process, Shadow also realized that becoming a truly powerful ninja required more than mastering all kinds of ninjutsu. It also required an unyielding will and keen insight. Only through constant effort and practice could he improve his strength.
After a long period of training, Shadow finally mastered some basic ninjutsu skills. He knew it was only the beginning, but he believed that if he persevered, he would one day become an exceptional ninja.
Finally, after many attempts, Shadow successfully condensed a small fireball. Compared to Madara's Great Fireball, it was like a star beside the bright moon, but to Shadow, it was a groundbreaking breakthrough.
Madara gave a slight nod, acknowledging Shadow's performance. He could see that Shadow possessed extraordinary potential and unbreakable perseverance.
"Not bad, but you still need further tempering. Remember, using chakra is not merely a matter of skill; it is about mastering your own power with ease," Madara encouraged.
"I'll keep working hard, Clan Head," Shadow said firmly.
Shadow nodded with a resolute gaze. He knew he still had a long road ahead, but this success greatly strengthened his confidence. He decided to train even harder and improve his strength.
Shadow said to Madara, "Clan Head, I think only by achieving great unification can we bring peace to the Ninja World."
Uchiha Madara said, "In this endless Ninja World, only strength is the eternal truth."
"But if strength is not used properly, won't it bring disaster as well?" Shadow asked doubtfully.
Hashirama is still too naive!!!
At that moment, Shadow looked at the troubled Madara. The truth of the world was founded only upon the strong; only the strong could establish order!!!
Kid, you really are impressive, like a dazzling pearl shining with a brilliance beyond your years!
Amid a tense and solemn atmosphere, the Clan Head convened an important ninja clan meeting.
This meeting would decide how the tailed beasts were to be distributed, drawing intense attention and anticipation from the ninjas of every clan. At the same time, Senju Hashirama had issued summonses to representatives of the major ninja families. This move stirred speculation and concern among all sides, as everyone considered the true intent behind the meeting.
At this critical moment, Uchiha Madara appeared deeply helpless and dissatisfied.
"This method of distributing the tailed beasts is utterly incomprehensible," Madara complained.
He believed that giving away power was no different from seeking death, like handing someone else a knife and letting them carve away their own flesh.
Yet although Shadow understood the deeper meaning behind it, he was still only a child and could not take part in this struggle for power.
He understood that strength and will were different: strength was the interaction between physical things, while will concerned the spiritual realm far more.
"Right now, what we still lack is strength," Shadow murmured. He stood silently beside Uchiha Madara, his heart filled with countless thoughts.
"Clan Head, can't we really find a better way?" Shadow asked.
He realized that only by possessing sufficient strength could he protect himself and those around him, and achieve his goals and ideals.
Shadow stood there quietly, his gaze firm and profound.
He understood that if he wished to survive in this cruel world, he had to constantly work to improve his strength. At the same time, he believed that as long as he held fast to the faith and pursuit in his heart, he would surely overcome every difficulty and walk the path to success.
He knew that he still had a long way to go on the path of a ninja, and Madara before him was undoubtedly the example and goal guiding him forward.
The ninja clan meeting was about to begin, and Shadow followed Uchiha Madara there.
Along the way, Shadow felt both nervous and expectant.
"Clan Head, what will come of this meeting?" Shadow asked.
He did not know what changes this meeting would bring, nor how much he might learn from it.
When they arrived at the meeting place, Senju Hashirama was already waiting there.
Seeing Hashirama's resolute eyes, Shadow could feel his longing for peace.
However, Uchiha Madara scoffed at it.
The meeting began, and Senju Hashirama explained his plan for distributing the tailed beasts.
He hoped that through this method, the ninja clans could balance one another and thereby achieve peace.
"This is utterly foolish," Madara retorted.
But Uchiha Madara fiercely opposed it, believing it was a foolish act that would only weaken their own strength.
Shadow quietly listened to their argument, thinking about what peace truly meant.
"Clan Head, is Lord Hashirama's idea really without any merit?" Shadow asked softly.
He understood that strength was indeed important, but could strength alone truly bring peace?
At that moment, representatives of the other ninja clans also voiced their opinions. Some supported Senju Hashirama's plan, while others stood with Uchiha Madara.
The meeting fell into heated debate.
Watching the scene, Shadow suddenly had an idea.
He rose to his feet and said to everyone, "Seniors, I may only be a child, but I understand the value of peace. Strength can indeed make people powerful, but without the proper way to use it, it can also bring destruction. Distributing the tailed beasts may not be a perfect plan, but it gives us an opportunity—an opportunity to work together for peace."
After hearing Shadow's words, everyone fell into thought.
Uchiha Madara looked at Shadow, surprise flashing in his eyes. He had not expected the child to possess such profound insight.
"Shadow, you've truly surprised me," Madara said.
Senju Hashirama also gave a slight nod, agreeing with Shadow's words. "Shadow is right. We cannot look only at one side of strength. Peace requires all of us to work together. It requires us to create it with wisdom and courage."
In the end, the meeting decided to temporarily distribute the tailed beasts according to Senju Hashirama's plan. At the same time, however, every ninja clan promised to work together to safeguard peace. Should any threat to peace arise, they would unite to confront it.
Shadow looked at the outcome, his heart filled with hope.
"Clan Head, what should we do from now on?" Shadow asked.
He knew this was only the beginning, and many challenges awaited them in the future. But he believed that as long as everyone worked together, they would surely achieve peace in the Ninja World.
As the meeting ended, Shadow and Uchiha Madara left the venue.
On the way, Madara said to Shadow, "Kid, your performance today has made me see you in a new light. But remember, the road to peace will not be smooth. You must be prepared."
"I will, Clan Head." Shadow nodded firmly. "I believe that one day, the Ninja World will truly achieve peace."
From then on, Shadow trained even harder. He not only had to increase his strength, but also cultivate his wisdom and courage. He knew that only then could he survive in this world of Naruto and contribute his own strength to the cause of peace.
