Harry tried his best to look full of energy so Madam Pomfrey would let him out sooner.

How could Madam Pomfrey be fooled by such a little trick? With her professional standards, she absolutely would not release a patient before the time she had estimated.

It was no wonder Madam Pomfrey was making such a fuss. Getting kissed by a Dementor was no joke.

A Dementor attack had a tremendous effect on a wizard's mind. Otherwise, why had the prisoners in talent-filled Azkaban basically all gone mad?

Sirius Black, the noble young man who had been campus-heartthrob material in his school days, had looked like some wild-eyed vagrant by the time he appeared, with yellow teeth foul enough to knock Buckbeak unconscious.

Harry had been attacked by a Dementor on the train, yet he had not gone to Madam Pomfrey for treatment. He had been listless for days afterward.

He remained in bed until the following afternoon before Madam Pomfrey finally let him leave.

At this time, Ron Weasley and Eli were all in class, so Harry planned to go to the library. He still had those damned two rolls of parchment worth of homework to hand in.

Harry walked through the corridor alone. There were very few people around during class time.

Hogwarts was like the universities from his previous life. If they did not have class, quite a few people chose to stay holed up in their dormitories.

As Harry passed Lupin's office, he happened to see Lupin standing in the doorway.

"Oh, Harry, you're out of the Hospital Wing? How are you feeling now?"

"Er, all right. Madam Pomfrey's treatment was pretty good."

Lupin looked him over. "Hmm, Eli and the others are in class right now. Why not come sit in my office for a while?
