The music sent a thrill through everyone, and the students on the dance floor forgot all about being tired.
At this hour, Ron Weasley would normally have been fast asleep. Instead, he was dancing with Lavender like there was no tomorrow.
Harry had forgotten his embarrassment at the ball, too, and danced like an old man having a fit.
Draco Malfoy, meanwhile, sat off to the side with Astoria, enjoying the food on the table.
Astoria looked a little pale. All that dancing seemed to have worn her out.
"You need to eat more. A few dances and you're exhausted." Draco Malfoy kept piling all sorts of food onto Astoria's plate.
He had even fed Astoria a whole piece of cake. Gentle as she was, she hadn't thought to ask him to cut it up.
Her cheeks bulged as she watched him keep piling food on her plate, smiling sweetly all the while.
"How did you get cake all over your face?" Draco Malfoy asked, looking disgusted even as he wiped a dab of cream from the tip of Astoria's nose.
"This is good... This one's not bad either... Dad took me to eat this once. This is good..."
Astoria watched the food rise higher on her plate and mumbled around her mouthful, "Mmm, mmm, mmm..."
"What did you say?"
"Mmm, mmm..." Astoria grew anxious to get the words out, but she couldn't swallow the cake in her mouth.
Elsewhere, Eli was getting the same treatment.
"This looks good... This one too... Eat more, you're so thin." Hermione Granger muttered as she fed Eli. When his mouth was full, she piled food onto his plate instead.
Eli was so stuffed his eyes nearly rolled back, and his mouth was still full of food he hadn't finished.
