As the castle's shadow grew shorter and shorter, another school year was drawing to a close.
This end of term would bring not only the holidays, but also farewells.
For the first time ever, students from three schools had lived together for an entire school year. With the time for parting near, they all felt somewhat reluctant to say goodbye.
The Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students stood in neat lines in their uniforms, just as they had when they first arrived.
The Hogwarts students stood on either side. Compared to before, there was more reluctance in their eyes.
Ron drooled at the sight of the Beauxbatons girls' calves wrapped in black stockings. Lavender beside him looked like her hair was about to catch fire as she glared furiously at Ron, but Ron did not sense the murderous aura beside him in the slightest.
Harry, meanwhile, was far more brazen. His eyes were practically glued to them. No one was going to stop him, anyway.
The students from the three schools bid each other farewell. Durmstrang's Krum looked over toward Eli, or rather, at Hermione beside him.
"Thank you again for saving me!" While Krum was feeling dejected, a thoroughly out-of-place voice suddenly sounded. Harry stood before him with a sincere expression.
"It was nothing. I just happened to do it," Krum said quickly in a low voice, his attention entirely on Hermione.
"No matter what, you saved my life!" Harry did not notice Krum's distraction at all. He took a step sideways to block Krum's view and earnestly patted him on the shoulder.
"Tch..." Krum craned his neck from side to side, hoping to get a few more looks in before leaving.
"You're not only my idol now, but also my lifesaver!" Harry refused to let up.
