The box continued to tremble. There was clearly a living creature inside, and even through the box they could feel an unmistakable chill, making them all take several steps back.
The moment Eli unlocked it, the lid was violently shoved open.
A bone-deep cold rapidly spread out, and an aura of despair began filling the entire room.
