Qian Daoliu's spiritual power roamed through Snow White's body, from her dantian to her meridians, then through every limb and bone, leaving nowhere unchecked.
He clearly sensed the entirely new Soul Power within Snow White. It was neither the Snow-Crested Swan's ultimate ice nor the Six-Winged Angel's sacred power, but a dazzling spectrum he had never encountered, somewhere between the two.
Aurora.
Cold and blazing heat coexisted; ice sealing and purification lived side by side.
Two utterly different attributes had fused perfectly within her, without the slightest rejection or trace of disorder.
Qian Daoliu's brows furrowed slightly, then slowly relaxed.
He examined her three times.
The result was the same each time.
Her meridians were unharmed, her Martial Soul was undamaged, and her Soul Power flowed as smoothly as a clear mountain stream.
There was nothing wrong.
Qian Daoliu released her hand, stepped back, and looked at Snow White.
Indescribable emotions surged in his deep eyes.
"Xue'er," he said, his voice a little hoarse, "do you know how worried your grandfather was?"
Snow White looked at him, a faint smile curling her lips.
"I know."
Qian Daoliu drew a deep breath, suppressed the emotions churning in his heart, and shook his head.
"You've been stubborn since childhood. Once you set your mind on something, even ten oxen couldn't drag you back. I couldn't stop you, and I didn't dare try. You chose this path yourself. All I could do was watch over you and watch you walk it."
He paused, his voice growing quieter.
"Now that you've found your way through, I'm happy for you. But you must remember—"
He raised his head, his gaze blazing and his tone solemn.
"No matter when, no matter what happens, your grandfather will always stand behind you."
Snow White nodded. "Thank you, Grandfather."
